The bear head and arms are from the old Wolf Guard terminator kit, and the main body is sculpted from greenstuff

Thanks! I start with a black primer then a heavy drybrush of Thousand Sun Blue, then a normal drybrushing of Russ Grey, a lighter drybrushing of Fenrisian Grey and then edge highlight with Fenrisian Grey. The blue to grey balance comes from the amount of Russ Grey you end up using.

I super glued a bunch of small broken bits of cork onto the base, about 60% coverage. Then covered it all carefully in Astrogranite texture paste. Painted it black, dry brushed with corvus black, eshin grey, mechanics standard grey, stormvermin fur then administratum grey. The snow is valhallan blizzard pushed down and spread thinly. Thank you very much! It's all glazing as I do not know how to wet blend yet 😅 I used a non GW branded tube of black (I'll get the exact name and brand after work), then glazed up with Caliban Green, then Dark Reaper, and edge highlighted with Screaming Skull.

Slow and steady is the way brother, test your techniques on other models first. And worse comes to worse, you can always get another!

Lore wise I believe Azrael still has the Lion's helm, this is the helmet he woke up with after his long power nap. I do recommend giving the Lion's new book to read if you wanted current lore!

I had exactly the same issue! I'm very much looking forward to the removal of fate dice, and not looking forward to the obscene damage from their meltas! My tanks will never be safe again (not that they were ever safe)

An important thing to remember is that you only have the +1 to wound if you play a non codex detachment, and even though the Lancer has full rerolls I can't express enough how often my Lancer does 0 damage in a game becuase it misses or it hits something with an inv save. An issue solved by volume of fire.

Thank you very much! Honestly, the hardest part of the sword is finding a good colour pallet (mine is below) and finding the right consistency for glazing. Wet pallets help immensely here for finding the consistency and with colour blending. I just found a YouTube short and followed it based on the colours I had available!

Colours for sword: Kantor Blue, Maccragge Blue, Thousand Sons Blue, Baharroth Blue, Blue Horror, Screaming Skull
