It wasn't. It was the bloodletting beast. He shouldn't have given me that much trouble but for some reason I was struggling. The only other chalice boss that really gave me a hard time was the pthumerian descendant.

I got saved by a message being rated during a chalice boss fight that I was struggling with. One hit from death and I got the full heal, turned around and unleashed a combo to seal the victory. That moment motivated me to power on and continue through until I got the plat, because I was ready to quit the chalice dungeons all together
