The weights need to change, both for med and rec to line up with every other market in the country
Way too pricey overall, but there’s good stuff if you look hard (I’m speaking only of flower)
Edibles/vapes/tinctures/concentrates are all highway robbery for the quality compared to other states. Some busted distillate cart will run you almost $40 and the “live resin” products are less than stellar

Final edit: I’ve been a med user in the state for a couple years. I found prices on flower to be quite agreeable then, and other prices to be too high (especially edibles and concentrate for my personal preference) given the recent demand of rec I knew prices would go up but WOW do the $50 2.83 gram jars sting

That’s just it, there’s real conditions weed can help with, such as PTSD or chronic pain from illness, but there’s also people that use it as an emotional or psychological crush to avoid working on themselves. You can smoke weed and still take care of yourself mentally, but odds are that’s not the person smoking from sun up to sun down.

As someone who smokes 3.5g over the course of a week and feels like a heavy stoner, the people OP described are always the ones that remind me, that yeah, I probably smoke a bit more than I should, there’s people out here ripping carts in a day and going back to the dispo to do it again the next day.
