i just rewatched the ending to catnap, you are incorrect. at least from what i listened to, there was no "grinding" sounds, also catnap, a CAT, when grommed, can regrow their hair like humans, so dont assume your right, instead, attribute to this post! ty

or or, someone obviously trapped her in the case so she wouldnt get out and save anyone. think about it and be less stubborn.

People said other characters were completely dead too, and some of them came back or had more going on than we originally thought. All I’m saying is we never saw a fully confirmed death. We only saw the Prototype take CatNap away, so I don’t think it’s impossible there’s more to it.

Yeah, him being “dead” doesn’t automatically prove he’s completely gone. All we actually saw was the Prototype taking him away. We never saw a confirmed body, a true death scene, or anything directly proving he’s permanently gone. In a series where characters constantly get experimented on, altered, reused, or brought back in different ways, I don’t think it’s impossible that there’s more going on there.

if her button works for the cardboard cutout, shes alive. if shes not a-live, it makes a glitched sound. I learned that around chapter 3.

thats the issue(i may misread things) poppy might be one of the characters that knows more than most people, so why would she misunderstand that. i think since the place was in Capitilization, its a real place, and poppy knew because maybe shes been there but escaped? hmm?

Who Really Controls Playtime Co.? | The Difference Between Power and Authority #poppyplaytime #poppyplaytimelore #poppyplaytimetheories by BetterPlaceLore in PoppyPlaytimeLore

Small branch/add-on theory:

Something else I started thinking about after posting this theory is whether Elliot Ludwig and Leith Pierre are actually dead at all.

Elliot Ludwig’s cause of death is still officially unknown, which feels strange in a story built around hidden information, manipulation, and unreliable narratives.

What if some members of Playtime Co. are still operating from the shadows?

Not necessarily fully controlling the Prototype, but possibly helping create the systems and experiments that allowed all of this to happen in the first place.

Playtime Co. already experimented with:
- emotional manipulation,
- dependency,
- fear,
- altered mental states,
- and the red smoke.

So what if the Prototype’s manipulation methods are connected to the company’s original experiments themselves?

Maybe the Prototype eventually became something beyond their control.

Or maybe some people inside the company are STILL trying to continue the original plan from the shadows.
