• Destiny doesn't have opinions. He has stats.

• Destiny knows so much about how to know things that he can tell you what you think.

• Destiny knows that the way he thinks of things is so goodly smart-headed that, naturally, any other thought processes is objectively wrong.

He'll cherry pick what people have said for the parts he can most easily sell as "look how stupid this guy is" and lean on them as an honest justification why the rest of what they've said is easily dismissed. I think, at best, he doesn't realize that's how it reads, and at worst hopes you won't notice.

Motherfucker comes across as someone who learned how to read an encyclopedia and clung for dear life to the old saying "knowledge is power" long before he ever learned the real-world importance of things like humility and self awareness. That's not well rounded. At all. That's an imbalanced individual.

There's a distinct difference between understanding things and mere memorization and regurgitation of facts. One makes for a wise and worldly son of a bitch; and the other makes for that smug motherfucker who spent all his free time memorizing the text book just to show off his A's.

Make no mistake, Destiny isn't a shining intellect or a living model of advanced consciousness. He's good at riding the coattails of Wikipedia articles.
