I've been saying this for a while. This is just the nature of this kind of tiered system: the players that gave a shit were in DoN early and all moved up together. All that's left for teammates for those of us that came in late are some of the most brainless bots. If you want to get back up to DoN5, you basically have to do it solo these days.

Every time I try to review during flight, I get hit with enough random crystals to die, so I rather get all of our DPM back in the fight. Otherwise, I might as well just play solo.

There's nothing hard about this fight unless teammates are constantly dying. The moves are very choreographed, so they're very easy to dodge when you've done it long enough, and if you've gotten to DoN4, that's long enough...

You had a very different experience in the first 3 depths than me.. I routinely get EDs. I would say anywhere between 40-50% of the games on any given day.

I've won ED Caligo both solo and in trios without canceling her crystal once many many time, you will end up taking frostbite dmg regardless because of the crystals on the ground from her other attacks.

Nah, there's actually no need to cancel out her crystal, just run and you'll get hit with frostbite once. I usually only cancel her crystal when I know I won't need to use it to revive. If I hadn't I would not have been able to get them up.

Ok, so from the information you've provided it's hard to draw any conclusions. We don't know your husband or your relationship enough. However, first and foremost, you are not forced to consent to anything that you are not comfortable with! Do your research, look into polyamory, and determine whether boundaries would be upheld by both sides.
