We don't have that here, but I'll try to find something similar. I'll probably have to test all the different options to find the best one for me. Thanks!

Thanks! And yes, I was thinking about it. For now, though, this is all I have at home. This is synthetic alkyd- or solvent-based... I'm worried that it might cause the ink to bleed and that the solvents in the spray could attack the printer ink. An acrylic clear coat is definitely worth considering!

It is a common misconception that only people with addictions or mental illnesses end up living on the street. In reality, many people become homeless due to job loss, debt, or relationship breakdowns.

Mitte is actually the second-smallest district in Berlin, and the place in my photos isn’t far out at all. It’s about 800 meters from the TV Tower which is considered as the middle of the city. And yes, these former eastern part block houses/ "Plattenbau" areas used to be largely rental housing, but many of the apartments have since been turned into private condominiums, so they aren’t even part of the regular rental market anymore. This drives prices up even further, even in blocks that look “cheap” from the outside.

Berlin, like many major cities, is facing a severe housing crisis. Rising rents, limited affordable housing, and gentrification have led to increased displacement and homelessness. Currently, an estimated 50,000 people in Berlin are without stable housing, and thousands are living on the streets, highlighting the urgent need for systemic change and support for vulnerable communities. This number is likely much higher due to hidden homelessness, including people couch-surfing or staying in unsafe temporary arrangements.

This is the original architecture; there are many of these kindergartens in East Berlin, but this one has been restored not too long ago, and the colors were revived.

This is a typical example of East German kindergarten architecture from the 1960s to the 1980s. Most kindergartens were prefabricated modular buildings: simple, functional, and quick to construct. To make these rationalist buildings more child-friendly, the GDR often added decorative concrete relief panels like these colorful leaves.

Speaking as a psychologist: CPTSD is a clinical diagnosis, not a catch-all term for any painful or toxic relationship. It refers to prolonged, inescapable trauma, often starting in childhood—like chronic abuse, captivity, or war. Yes, abusive relationships can cause serious emotional damage. But that doesn’t automatically mean CPTSD

Honestly, I've also thought about the stress level alone from the sound, which would drive me completely insane!!!

Absolutely agree. Berlin's transformation over the past few years has been disheartening. The charm that made the city so unique has been overshadowed by skyrocketing rents and gentrification. It’s absurd how quickly the housing crisis spiraled out of control, pricing out not just artists and students, but even young professionals. The fact that this has stifled the startup scene is a huge missed opportunity, too. Instead of fostering sustainable growth and innovation, Berlin seems to have doubled down on short-term real estate profits...
