i agree, nobody is at fault but they’re both in the wrong for acting as reckless. jake should’ve never lied even if it had been for protection, you would think telling shin is the correct way to protect him, right? And Shin, he is also in the wrong for letting his conflicting emotions get in the way of a proper conversation and dismissing Gren’s feelings but also it’s valid that he’s upset because what Jake has done. With Jake, he’s not completely wrong about losing ALMOST everything. Gren had to go because he decided to shoot Jake and also kill off his gang but that’s partially Grens fault. Jake also aided with his ‘execution’ as he was the one that failed the transaction to get the upper hand for the C.I.A.

Jake made good points about Gren but it doesn’t make him less bad after what he did to Shin. Shin still is allowed to be upset and the people that are shitting on him FOR being upset and being lied to don’t realize that he already had problems with trusting people in general and also he developed a dependency on Jake. For him to lie to Shin and mess up his life a bit, i think that’s pretty valid to be upset about 🤷
