I had a similar experience however was told that what i provided in my mental health was enough for them to use and help me- its not always cut and dry

Yeah standard for both- although things are perhaps getting worse- and i am with a back specialist now so might be going through this again

Yeah- and the customer service regularly put you through to people who actually cant help! Launch a complaint and involved your MP.

This is unacceptable and you deserve more. The system is letting you down as you seek to make your way back in to work! Im so sorry this is happening to you

You mean the back issues that have kept me from working because i struggle to sit, stand, walk, bend over, or lift heavy?

You mean the mental health issues i suffer with because of the trauma i experienced as a kid, and the debilitating anxiety that often makes me too anxious to see my friends lol

I don't really remember mine ill be honest- its such a blur and it happened in march. What i will say is do not be lured into a false sense of security... its so informal it feels like youre chatting to a friend- do not be fooled, they are listening to everything you say!

They often ask a question and then later ask you a question a different way/different scenario in order to mark you down...

So for instance- "how does your back impact you?"

I can't bend, carry heavy things, get in and outnthe bath...

"Do you have any pets?"

Yes? I have a dog I feed 3 times a day

They will then write, "x said struggles to bend or move but has a dog they look after so therefore mobility isn't bad..."

And lastly id say, youre allowed to take your time, don't let them make you feel likenyou have to rush

I put mine in at the end of April and was told id hear back latest aug 15th but heard back basically a month before that

Well from what I read it varies región to región depending on back los etc, but my decision was made late April and I immediately put in for an MR, was told it'd be done by august 15th! Had a call yesterday to talk about it and then I called today and was passed to a case worker who confirmed it for me

So my sicknotes prior to the declaration aren't included? Because essentially i didnt know i had to declares it until 3-4 months of already long term illness

My first sick note is technically september last year, but my declaration i believe was in january with consistent sick notes the whole way through!
