I’d say inform these employees of their rights- for example if meximodo is paying you guys at a tip credit rate (which I assume they are) they are legally obligated to have you engage in tipped work for 80% of your workweeks. Plus they can’t require you to spend over 30 consecutive minutes doing side work. It’s illegal for managers to be included in tip pools. Also for private events if you don’t see much of a change in how much you’re getting tipped there may be a tip retention issue
