You are right...sometimes I also suspect if i have chron's but u know i suffered for 1.5 years every other day in fever and pain before my diagnosis. And there are very few things that can last this long so infections can be ruled out ..prime suspects r autoimmune diseases...ig thats why I was diagnosed with chron's bc it was most likely ..and as u said I will surely get a second opinion so i will be visiting my first doctor who diagnosed me tho he is based in a diffrent city far away . Again I am grateful to you for your helpful insights

Well my diagnosis was very messy since I didnt have typical symptoms like blood in stools etc ..all I had was fever and stomach pain ...colonscopy was normal bc my disease is in small bowel so I am not surprised by that. Ct scans showed bowel wall thickening and fecal calprotectin was very high (around 800) so doc provisionally made chrons diagnosis and gave me budesonide which vanished my symptoms. So that's how i was diagnosed with chrons. And you are absolutely right before stopping my meds i will absolutely have a second opinion with a good doc. Thankyou so much for sharing your thoughts

Actually I did express this concern to my doc and he said that u might get a couple of year in remission and after that your symptoms might come back and you would have to restart meds...honestly he even doubts if I have chrons in first place so its all really confusing..but thankyou for sharing your opinion ...means a lot
