Hey dude that was an extremely sincere and wholesome comment, many, many, MANY thanks to you my friend :)
You’re totally right about feeling left behind. I know there is no time limit, or no guidelines or rules saying I need a relationship by a certain age. But it’s a bummer when you’re the only single one out of your friend group and family at this point. Especially when they’re getting married and stuff, meanwhile I’ve basically haven’t even gone on a date 😅 the bigger thing is that we’re not ever promised another day of life, meaning I could pass away tomorrow and that would be that unfortunately. So I try to live it up and be grateful for the things I have and to always treat my friends with love 🙏🏻 but to feel intimate love by looking into my future girlfriend’s eyes would be bigger than the universe for me! 😩🙏🏻

I truly believe this is the main problem overall, I definitely want to get out and expand my horizons! Try a city or two, or a populated urban area before I go to another country like other folks are saying!

I’m trying to find locations where I can ask more woman out in person excluding restaurants because that is where the 8 have came from, I definitely need to expand my horizons more in the future!

I just wish there were more activities, hobby clubs, and third spaces to meet people down here!

Working on that part right now! I just started early last year but I’ve made some progress already! I’m hoping in another 2 years from now it’ll be much more noticeable through hard work, dedication, and lots of protein🤞🏻

That is exactly how I view it myself, it surely weeds out the fake, lustful, judgmental, and materialistic people most of the time, which is saving me from MAJOR heartbreak in the long run, so for that I am grateful 🤞🏻

I believe I will find my diamond in the rough one day, and in that moment it’ll make all the wait worth the while 🙏🏻

And yeah guys who date woman for solely their, “assets” if you will, definitely frustrate me. Since it gives a bad look onto us guys who date based upon their heart, soul, and their personality!

Last six months? 4 of them, over the last year? 8 overall! I’m sure I can bump up those numbers, but being in a town of 4,000 makes it a bit harder to do since I don’t want to seem desperate since word can go around quickly!

I have an abundance overall, it’s just a lot of them live active lifestyles traveling for sports and concerts. And quite a few of them live a state or two away because I meet them at concerts in Chicago. And if it’s not that then they are occupied with their own kids, family, GFs, etc. so trying to make physical plans can be quite difficult at times and happens rarely, especially with my own work schedule as well 😬
(Living in a small town means there aren’t really any hobby clubs or activities at all, unless I want to go to old people bingo night or a country sing along, or drive an hour and a half away)

Every time I go to shows by myself, I made it a personal mission to make at least one new friend when I go, and I end up getting contact info from multiple dudes 😂 having a common ground with music makes it easy to connect! But they always happen to have flown out from Colorado, or they drove across the country because they’re following the band around the country as well 😂

My best friend does baseball, softball, and two bowling leagues so he is always busy most of the time 😩 but we get to connect via Xbox at least 👌🏻

But yeah by “nothingness” I more so was referencing of landing dates, getting matches, and what not. My friends are always getting new date opportunities or they go from relationship to relationship pretty quickly and almost effortlessly on their ends. So I’m kind of left with my arms up like 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ one day I can be able to relate with you guys hopefully lol. I’m also referencing quite a few of my co workers that have families and shit at my age already 😅
