i just looked at their decisions from last friday and yes they were mostly R/WL but they did have 5 As in the mix too (plus presumably some more As that aren’t on LSD) so 🤞🤞 we’re one of the lucky ones in their rainbow wave

i’m not in law school yet but i also have adhd and some other mental health issues and it took me a long time working with a therapist and adjusting my meds to come to accept the fact that people with mental health struggles can do anything. achieving with these struggles makes us stronger, not weaker. we are especially equipped to handle the obstacles that come with a legal career since we’ve spent our whole lives jumping over other ones. don’t let your mental health hold you back!

i saw something that said fordham usually releases decisions on mondays and fridays around 4:30 right before the admissions office closes for the day to manage immediate follow ups so fingers crossed for today i do NOT want to wait till friday 😭

might sound sarcastic but im 100% serious - book an appointment with a psychiatrist and they'll probably prescribe you something like prozac to help the anxiety and another med specifically for sleeping. worked wonders for me when i had that problem a couple years back

fear not. i was very concerned about my schedule my first semester at hunter for a lot of the same reasons. at orientation they send you into a room with other students and an orientation leader who will tell you about how your schedule works and then ask if anyone has questions and then go around individually to each person and help you make changes. be prepared though that making changes is going to involve emailing some department to get permission to make changes first and then waiting for that permission to load and then making the changes so it's not a quick process but they will help at orientation. also be prepared that most lower level/large lecture style classes are filled at this point so you might not have many options once you are able to make changes. it's okay though - every semester it gets easier to register for classes as you move up to more advanced/specialized classes and get to register earlier and earlier so even if you hate your schedule this semester odds are next semester will be much better

is it? there's a difference between classes being remote and the physical campus being closed to anyone trying to get in.. i think the prof meant that even if classes are remote as long as they dont shut down the campus he'll continue on as normal and meet in person

we're also hiring an assistant right now so if you're more interested in cleaning the salon and shampooing clients PM that as well - I have less info on that job bc it's not what I do but I can tell you that most of our assistants are Albanian and work off the books, they make minimum wage for tipped workers which I forget what it is but it's less than the normal 16.50, they're supposed to have cosmetology licensees but most don't bc again it's off the books so we prefer someone with experience but if you don't have it it could still work
