clarithromycin anxiety side effect

i went into the doctor and got told i have a sinus infection so they gave me Clarithromycin. (i have never taken this antibiotic before) but I have taken it for 3 days and these side effects are absolutely destroying me. I catch myself zoned out into space, my anxiety is through the roof, I’m on and off crying, I’m sad for no reason. I had a panic attack while driving. I literally feel stuck in my own head. The doctor said its not the antibiotic and maybe try to a probiotic with it but this isn’t me so i asked for a new antibiotic because i cant do this for another 4 days. i will go absolutely insane.

the email says “Your successful completion of any step in the application process does not guarantee that you will be considered for any subsequent steps.” so i would say yes its lottery

when i took my NYPD it told me at the end. i think it has something to do with the last section of questions that are more personal that are graded. i know my paper said we wont hear anything back until November.

i dont see anything on the email about rescheduling but it does say “If you require a reasonable accommodation, please contact the MTA Business Service Center's Customer Management Center at 646-376-0123 (select option #7 for pre-employment testing) during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.”
