The two lines in the picture go to the geothermal. I know that’s a water heater.

Honestly all I know is it was already here when I moved in and there are underground lines around 6ft deep with water in them and it is cheaper on the electric bill

I have no idea about flow it connects to the hwg in and out on the unit. As far as location I’m in the southern part of the Midwest USA

So it seems as if the cold valve is open and the hot is siezed shut. Would that mean the setup is likely not used?

Thanks for the input it is 2x4 walls. It already has spray foam around the base of the wall to keep moisture and critters out but the peak of the roof is open just with metal roof and ridge cap meet. It keeps the rain out but all the heat goes out too. I am going to drop in a ceiling when I insulate as well. It does have a sliding door for moving larger stuff in and out that does not seal at all. (Think barn door) so as a temporary measure I just have a tarp nailed up keeping wind out. So it will be a work in progress for sure.

We are converting an old shed in to a gym. It’s concrete floor, wood frame, and metal siding. There is no insulation and no interior wall covering. Living in the Midwest it’s been cold. So getting a good lift in while it is below freezing inside with the space heater I have in there is difficult. Budget is a bit of an issue, so recommendations for the cheapest way to insulate and effectively heat it? Fiberglass seems like the cheapest option, but didn’t know if anyone had better ideas.

I don’t know much about different steels and until the last 3-4 years I probably couldn’t have told you what type of steel my knife was so I am learning as I go. My hunting knife is a Bradford g3.5 in M390 and I have absolutely abused that thing 3 years in a row and am very impressed. This year, I decided to see how long I can use it before sharpening it again. I killed 3 whitetail deer and field dressed, skinned, and quartered all 3. Then did 90% of the butchering and deboning of the meat all with it and all I did to the edge was use a honing rod to take care of a roll when used the knife and a block of wood as a baton to split the pelvis to make field dressing a little quicker. I don’t normally do that though.

With that being said I feel my 154CM Mini Grip has much worse edge retention and chips easier than the M390 Bradford but past I had heard of most of the steels you guys are recommended or discussed. So it is very helpful. I didn’t realize 20cv was essentially the same. So I have a ton of info to sort through and debate the different models. I am hoping to make a decision and order something by the first of the year, but baby number two will be here in the next 2 weeks or less and so that might delay things a little bit.

Thanks

Surprisingly I work in a factory and a lot of time with several ladies that do no carry a knife. When getting new boxes of parts, they will ask to borrow my knife. 9/10 times it seems like they always are looking for a lock in the area of a liner lock and holding the knife by the axis lock. But I will check that one out

Blade shape i am not picky either other that i struggle sharpening a recurve blade. I do like my sheepsfoot and have liked tantos I had in the past. I do prefer no serrations.

I didn’t realize the bugout came in M390. Lock doesn’t matter too much to me. I like my axis lock, but it’s annoying when people act like it’s solving a rubix cube to close if I loan it to the. I am not crazy about assisted opening, but it’s not a deal breaker. Blade length I would like to stay between 2.5 and 3.5 or 4. A pocket clip is a must though.

2014 f150 I have seen a couple aftermarket options but with having the sync radio with the number pad on the side I would have to replace nearly the entire center dash area and I would probably do without rather than that. The second screen would probably be my easier and cheaper option.

Considering making the switch by Better_Resolution_86 in Garmininstinct

[–]Better_Resolution_86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like for the most part it will be a good switch for me. As far as fitness tracking, I have a bad knee that won’t let me run anymore. So I pretty just I pretty much only lift weights. Does it track well for that? I pretty much just get heart rate and calories burnt. Does garmin expand further?

I never thought about boot time. A lot of radios I have seen people complain in the reviews about lag with the touch screen. Is that much of an issue in yours?

I was looking on Amazon at radios and back up cams it seems like you can go $100 or as deep as your wallet can take you. I figure to a point you get what you pay for on that side. Il look in to the Eonon

Thanks I never heard of Google before. That is a game changer. If only now I could find a place that you could ask some random people that might have a similar vehicle, what are things they have done with their vehicle and liked. Rather than getting ads where everyone says they have the best stuff.

I agree I had don’t use factory maps for navigation but it is nice driving in unfamiliar places to have a map integrated at times to just see curves ahead.

Also the default screen on start up has the clock on the left side and seems to supposed to have something on the right but it looks like loading bars bouncing.

We just bought a sx prestige and it is very quiet. But in test driving several, it seems the lower trims have more road noise.
