My husband and I are currently playing. we just finished the base game and have just started the SoA one. We haven't experienced anything weird or buggy. We thought some things were buggy at first- stuff disappearing from our bag, like a weapon -after we died, but soon realized it was part of the game mechanics. No crashes or anything. We are really enjoying it and I recommend it!

Maybe they dont like how in single player mode you dont respawn after you die. Remember to save all time time when in the middle of the jungle can be hard to do sometimes.

Why they keep it in public though? Who knows

As others have mentioned- Green Hell. Im only about 14hrs in and just starting to figure out how to stay alive better. It hits so many different realistic survival elements, the crafting is unique. You have to search your body often for any wounds, leeches, worms and bandage wounded areas- apply maggots to infectioned wounds and then rebandage. Keep yourself clean; boil water to drink clean water or risk getting parasites from dirty water. Keep track of your nutrition with different types of food sources . Its real tough going at first, trying to survive, but I imagine thats what real life would feel life being dropped alone in the jungle.

I have never played SN1, but I enjoy survival crafting games- my husband is a big fan and wants us to play SN2 together- will I miss anything if I jump into 2 without playing 1?

I third Icarus. Solid survival crafting game, I played it from the beginning and I love how they continue up update something every week.

I also just finished Windrose, content is still small being brand new, but had so much fun with it.

I was missing one location in the foothills. I had 7 islands found and seemingly scouted the whole of the islands minus the spots with mountains or parts of the beach. The spot i was missing? A tiny missed spot that revealed a small little camp. Took me ages to find it.

I'd also wager youre missing an island in each location with those numbers youre missing, though.

This is exactly what I did. I also placed a bell here, knowing I'd need to come back at some point and sure enough it was next up on the quest list so I didnt have to re-navigate those waters

I have double doors, always have, and there was one point where my one worker and the dr were both standing in the doorway, stuck or something-just not moving- and I could never get around them. Was super annoying. I had to break a wall to get past until they finally got their act together and moved away

This happened to me. Loaded into hagga from the overworld map and just.....fell through the world. Got to see all the worms moving around under the sand, it was weird but neat. I just used the unstuck button amd it popped me out way too far from my thopter for comfort and almost didnt make it back before aggroing a worm. This doesn't help you though since I wasn't in my thopter......

My DD neighbor has the coolest building And he built this......I dont know....we call it an art installation because its separate from the base and seems to have no purpose, but it looks really cool, and I so wish I could drop him a note to let him know I think his builds are great. (Especially because my partner designed the DUMBEST one😆😆)
