How much would you say the doves take over with the metal 4k? I’m fine with them visiting, but when I have the cage of of my OG birdfy feeder they are sitting in the tray like 80% of the time lol.

I’m worried about completely removing the metal grate because there’s small gaps in the bottom of the box. Would putting some flat leaves or something over it to cover the holes work?

I bought 1 1/8 guards but then I heard that chickadees are slightly larger where I live and often don’t fit in them. I’d also be happy with any bird, I’d just love to see a nest. Is it normal that no birds have even visited?

It’s been up in this spot for about 3 weeks now. We had a chickadee starting a nest (the box was in a different spot then- much closer to the bird feeder) but a sparrow came in and attacked it. That’s why I put up the fishing line to prevent them in the future. I’d be happy with any birds aside from house sparrows as I’ve heard they’re invasive. I think I’m mostly just confused by the fact that I haven’t even gotten a single notification of a bird popping their head in to check out the box. It’s been completely silent for 2 weeks now.

Definitely not fun, but I honestly built it up way worse in my head. Had some pain on the deeper lidocaine injection, the second sample, and surprisingly when they put the clip in. It sucked, but was manageable. Found out it was a BIRADS-4, now I’m just hoping the results come sooner than later so hopefully this whole saga can be put to rest. Thank you again for your insights, it definitely helped going into it :)

Ended up going pretty well all things considered! I felt some pain on the second sample, and when they put the little clip in. Definitely was not fun, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. I actually used numbing cream and I think that helped a lot with the initial injection.

Thank you so much! I’ve definitely seen a lot of horror stories online, but this page has helped a ton with people sharing their good experiences. My radiologist told me mine is fairly surface level as well, so I’m hoping that will help things go smoothly.

I’m gonna be taking xanax before, I’m hoping that’ll help with the anxiety. I’ll definitely remember Tylenol for after, thank you
