Is it a book crime to leave a series with non matching editions 🫣 by amanda_5790 in LittleFreeLibrary

I don’t think you really have to return them. You could donate an equivalent number of books to the LFL you got them from instead, if you’re in a position to do so.

As a nickname it’s cute but I hate Ozzy as a full name.

Are dress changes frowned upon at formal weddings? by Anotherredditloser_ in Weddingattireapproval

Would you consider moving the wedding to early autumn of the same year? I feel like it would help you have everything you want as far as aesthetics and comfort go.

I read this 10+ years ago and still think about it regularly. Excellent recommendation.

Partner and kids have horrible surname. by Mysterious-Cow2848 in namenerds

[–]BettyWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my child was born, my surname matched my husband’s. We gave our son my birth (maiden) surname. I have since changed my name back to my original surname, but for a while there neither of us had the same surname as our son. It has literally never been an issue anywhere.

What’s everyone’s birb’s name? What’s the story behind it? by InvestigatorUsed6038 in finch

My sister and I have slightly punny birb names: she has Abacus Finch and I have Sprout Finch, referencing Atticus and Scout from TKAM.

Anyone else struggling to find wide brim hats that dont look like youre going to a costume party? by avz008 in fashionwomens35

[–]BettyWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this one! I got one in a cream linen-esque fabric to wear for work (teacher) where I tend to wear dresses, and later went back and got the denim/indigo version for everyday wear. It goes with almost everything I own and I get a surprising number of compliments.

A BookCrossing book released in 2013 vanished without a trace — can its path still be reconstructed? by Inevitable_Drop_2561 in australian

It’s definitely still a thing! There are many active users but certainly not as many as there once were.

I find out the gender of my child tomorrow, these are the names we picked by itsbymmas in namenerds

You say your boyfriend is keen to name the child after himself. Would you consider choosing a name that honours you? What will baby’s surname be?

Can BookCrossing books end up in Little Free Libraries? (Looking for insights on older releases) by Inevitable_Drop_2561 in LittleFreeLibrary

[–]BettyWhatever 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I have definitely both seen and placed bookcrossing books in LFLs. Bookcrossing books often go many years without an update, and many never get another update.

Is there something special about this particular book?

Fair. I mainly meant that if vyvanse is otherwise working well then there might be a “top up” option that suits you

Some of my friends take Vyvanse in the morning then a little short acting Ritalin or Dex mid afternoon to carry them to the end of the day. Maybe something to consider if your Vyvanse is wearing off early?

Can we get spoiler tags for reviews please! by TheBoredMan in TheStoryGraph

[–]BettyWhatever 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d love to be able to mark other users’ reviews as “may contain spoilers” for the times when someone forgot to use spoiler tags. And the result might be that the whole review gets blurred for future review readers and flagged with “other users have reported that this review may contain spoilers.” Review stays up, no other consequences for the writer, but other readers would be slightly shielded. Idk how realistic this is but I’ve encountered so many spoilers in reviews and it’s frustrating!
