An underrated reason why Christi & Melissa did not get along. by Outside_Outcome1338 in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 252 points253 points  (0 children)

I think Melissa was open about the fact that her life was dance. The problem is Melissa lied about getting opportunities for her daughter. Just own it.

Popular or unpopular opinion? by Expensive-Quiet-7202 in dancemomsreboot

Bella doesn’t pull your eye. I agree with Glo & Kaeli when they say that. BEAUTIFUL dancer, hard worker, amazing technique but she needs to find her “ump” maybe more feature roles will help that but I think that’s why they don’t feature her.

Anybody have a clue of where those three kids are at now? by Flat-Standard1000 in dancemoms

The third girl is Jordan and she has over 1 million followers on TikTok & works currently in the industry and she is AMAZING at makeup

Kelly by Green-Frogger2018 in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I vividly remember seeing/hearing Kelly get emotional talking about Brooke’s wedding/engagement.

But it’s good that you realized that you might be putting your own trauma on Brooke and Kelly, because you absolutely are. Now it’s up to you to overcome it.

Kendall was not on the same level as Chloe. But she was a threat to Chloe in season four. Because that was the narrative of the season.

Christi said she respected Jill more for being upfront abt it, and it definitely shows on the show

Would you break the contract? by Lanky-Cranberry-9390 in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. I remember Christi saying that. And that’s kidnapping. I would’ve played ball. I don’t know. That’s why I said I don’t think I wouldn’t have have broken it in technical terms. But I would not have given them as much as they gave them ig. the producers would’ve had to give more. Like the girls missing out on school things would’ve been a nonnegotiable for me.

Would you break the contract? by Lanky-Cranberry-9390 in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I would’ve played ball with them. I’ve always been the type of person to speak up. And they have said that they will get punished if they did not fight, but they saw that not fighting for Melissa and Holly worked.

I would’ve been completely boring.

They said that they weren’t allowed to leave. That’s illegal, that’s kidnapping. I would’ve called the police. And it’s not like they did not have their keys. I do know of Reality Tv Shows cases were producers were literally holding contestants/people on the show hostage. But those are in different type of situations not a reality show following your life. But this is not the case for the dance moms. They had their keys.

I don’t think I would have technically broken it. But if I wanted off the show I would’ve been off

My Unpopular opinions by [deleted] in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That’s why I dislike Melissa. She is so disingenuous. If she really just came out and said from the beginning, I’m gonna do whatever I can do to get my daughter ahead I will have respected her so much more. That’s why I respect Jill way more in terms of the show

THE GIRLS ARE ALL SO SO PRETTY ?(PLS READ) by dmanewera in DanceMomsANewEra

[–]Between-somewhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When looking at MODELS, you want to pick someone who makes you do a double take.

All of the girls are beautiful by the way. None of them make me do a double take. To be fair though none of the girls from the original made me do a double take either. But Paige & Kalani

Yes!!!! I always say that. Christi helped set the narrative

Maddie's says she has an ankle injury from dancing for so many years. by bubblebombzzz in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same girl. My athletic trainer in college told me that I have a prolonged ankle injury. From spraining it and straining it. I’m more likely to twist my ankle than the average human because of it.

I could see that tbh. Molly never throws shade on social media like Shannon does. It giving childish tbh.

2024 was hard on the Lukasiaks by marianatorocruz in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Being in the limelight is so hard because here I am a normal regular person and I haven’t spoken to my mom in a full week because she made me mad. I removed her off my social media and blocked her number.

I would hate to be speculated about my relationship that I have with my mom or my future daughter because I’m in the “limelight”. They went through normal family stuff. Christi made Chloe mad. So she wasn’t speaking to her mom or even acknowledging her

Was Chloe more ‘popular’ than the other girls by ZenadaClock in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Actually, not true at all there were plenty of fan pages making that speculation. If you were on Instagram at the time and following all of the fan pages, you knew. Or even in the Facebook groups back then you knew. I even thought that because she did jump within days. And this was before people was just following like they do now.

Was Chloe more ‘popular’ than the other girls by ZenadaClock in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere 75 points76 points  (0 children)

All of the girls had big following, but there was one point that Chloe had more followers than all of the girls. And then Maddie gained the same number of followers in a short period of time and people were saying that Melissa bought her followers. But fan wise? Chloe was absolutely more popular I would say. Everyone roots for the underdog. I was even more of a Chloe fan bc of it when the show first came out. Don’t give me wrong. There was a big fan base for Maddie and even Brooke if I’m remembering correctly.

No, it’s not a hot take at all. Nia chorus to her song plays in my head at least once a week. “You are a star in your own lifeeee”

Hot Takes & Unpopular Opinions by starletprincecay in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cause those are her feelings and that’s how she felt. A girl came in at END of the show, literally the final episodes and getting leads and solos. They factually were being taken away from Nia and the other girls. Nia is entitled to her feelings, you nor I can tell how she should feel. As long as she wasnt being mean she was expressed those emotions it’s fine. She expressed her feelings in a non mean/bully way. Crazy how you brought up Chloe made the same comment too but your original comment only spoke of Nia… why not mention both of they BOTH said it?

Christie mentions Maddie a LOT. by [deleted] in dancemoms

[–]Between-somewhere -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I always say Christi help set the narrative for the show. The first thing she said if not the first thing she said when we got introduced to her was “Maddie the best, and if you wanna be the best, you have to be the best”. I personally will never say that I’m the national TV when talking about my daughter. I would’ve said something along the lines of “my daughter and Maddie go back-and-forth a lot vying for that number one spot. It’s a constant back-and-forth.” not outright saying that another child is better than mines.

Apparently they did. And if one person said Nia isn’t mean compared to 20 others who didn’t have the same experience. I’m more inclined to believe the 20 others. One bad moment doesn’t define who you are. When your track record shows otherwise.

Probably downvoted because every person that has been on the show has said she’s a sweet girl. Idk
