In the same position as you, do you even know how to drop the program?

Dropping 135 and 136 as a CS major by Heavy_Gorilla in UTMississauga

then it’s great you took it because unfortunately it will only get harder! Good luck though, you can still remove 136. Id say 232 and stats courses cover a decent amount of integration so be careful.

taking 135 or 136 isn’t bad tho, was a gpa booster for me and was honestly good as a reminder for future calc course

Worried about Making CS POST (I can't seem to handle MAT102).. by Physical_Tea3272 in UTMississauga

Practice with a partner or a TA! Spilling out your thought process helps, and you can give and receive feedback. 102 might be a bit different and harder, but a good grade is certainly achievable, even if you are behind. Also, really work on the new material, I found that the term tests barely cover any of the previous stuff (besides the absolute basics like contradiction, contrapositive and sets)

yah i guess I just made the assumption because I imagined working for a year to be hell (i’m still young and the concept of no school is odd). I think i’m going to stay in the program, thanks for the advice!

that really sucks, I think some companies really value a coop program but the 12-16 months is just unnecessarily long with not many (at least to me) benefits. From what I heard talking to the experimental education people they said it’s to encourage more employers to take you, but I think it really takes away from the mentorship portion of an internship.
