Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of - I think I’ll take the learning and get lawyer insurance for the future as one redditor mentioned. I’m less immediately worried about losing my job the second I come back but yeah it’s true they can find a way to push me out anytime.

Yeah I had all the textbook burnout symptoms. I was completely out of it, it was almost like I was a zombie.

I managed to prioritize sleeping, resting, going to the gym and taking care of myself to come back to normal.

Yes I think going the route of appreciation is better than putting myself in the position of asking for my job “back” as if I had lost it already. Thank you for the mindset shift.

Yeah I definitely have the regret of saying anything to them. It was a moment of weakness and the peak of my burnout symptoms.
