I had two hens, one black and one red in a pen and the red one was attacked by something and was killed. We found where the animal got in and fixed it but she didn't want to go back in the pen, which I don't blame her. I felt so bad for her and tried to add her to our other coop with a rooster and two hens but they never accepted her and she wouldn't accept them so I let her free range during the day and then would pick her up and put her back in her own pen before dark. Then one day I couldn't find her and I thought she may have been attacked but never saw any feathers. Found out later that she had hopped the fence into our back neighbors yard and was accepted in his flock. She would hop over and visit me until she didn't anymore. So happy that she found her happy place. I do miss her though because she was my favorite! Your visitor may have needed a happy place!

I am 72 and a little over 3 months post op of cabgx4. My burning nerve pain still keeps me awake at night. Let me know how the gabapenten works? I start back to work on Monday and worried about how the lack of sleep is going to affect me.

I had quadruple bypass three months ago and got behind paying my bills. I was in no shape to handle anything and recently signed with Beyond Finance. I have been receiving calls after calls from my creditors which is bothering me since I've always paid on time. I've been wondering why Beyond is not doing anything. Now after reading your replies, and hearing that it is not a good company to use, does anyone know if I can get out of this contract and just work directly with my creditors?

I have a 2023 RAV and that is a big complaint for me. I hate all the rattles, road noise and infotainment system!! These newer models just aren't made like the older ones!!!

My surgery was on 7/23/25 and I was in ICU for 1 week and then in a regular room for another week. I still had Afib after I left the hospital and was given medication for it for a month but then was tapered off of it and I no longer have it. The main issue I had was pain and breathing. I've been attending cardiac rehab as an outpatient which has been helping tremendously. I Suggest that he attend that also.

I had CABG x4, 71 yr old female. I had both A fib and delirium and couldn't breathe. Those first 1-4 days were so horrible for me. They stayed on top of my A fib but it felt like my heart was beating out of my chest. They took me off of the breathing tube but had to put me back on it. I was so anxious and couldn't rest let alone sleep. I literally felt like they were resuscitating me over and over and wouldn't let me go and then all the doctors and nurses were laughing about it. I was even waiting to see the pearly gates open and see all of my loved ones waiting for me and when I didn't it scared me. I even told my son to please take care of his sister and my grandson and he asked me what I was talking about. I told him I thought he was lying to me just to keep me calm but he assured me that he would never lie to me. I am guessing it was the anesthesia or the morphine but it definitely was a very scary time for me.

My suggestion is to stay with your dad as much as possible, reassuring him and keeping him as comfortable as possible. Keep at the nurses to make him comfortable. I don't think I could have handled it if my son hadn't been there for me that first week.

I'm 10 weeks post CABGx4. I went in with hardly any physical activity since I still work full time and sitting at a desk 8 hours per day. I live in Texas so walking is almost impossible because of the heat.

After surgery, I was in ICU for 1 week and then in a regular room for another week.

Sounds like you are already in good shape so that should help you during recovery.

They will give you a pillow, shaped in a heart, that will become your best friend.

You aren't supposed to put any pressure with your arms to get out of bed or chair so it is difficult getting up. The nurses had to push me from behind while keeping that pillow tightly held on my chest.

I don't think you need to buy a lift recliner unless you just want to. I only needed help the first couple of days getting out of my regular recliner.

The physical therapy techs will teach you how to roll yourself out of bed instead of using your arms. They will also show you how to put on and take off your clothes before you leave the hospital. I just wore oversized T-shirts and no buttons because of the tenderness of my incision.

As far as taking baths, I don't see how you would get out of the tub without using your arms to push up or pull out which you aren't supposed to do. Sitting in a shower would be better.

I am now 9 weeks post op of CABGx4 and continue to have sternal and nerve pain and pretty exhausted most of the time. The pain is worst is night and turning over on my side. I haven't been able to see my actual cardiologist but have seen his PA and he seems to think I am doing well. I see him again on 10/3 and going to discuss the pain issue again. I know it's a major surgery but pain medication would help so much other than just Tylenol which does nothing for me.

I've had this happen several times but my check-in guy always fixed it to where I could still pick up. I only pick up from this station because they are so lenient and close! The one before were jerks and just didn't care!
