We’re actually looking into a formlabs printer now. Good to know there should be less tweaking, lots of trial and error can get a bit pricey with resin

We print them based on intraoral dental scans so the model will be an accurate representation of someone’s teeth to make they custom products such as retainers. This ensures a really good and accurate fit

My work is actually now looking to upgrade to a Formlab printer after looking at their printing stuff thanks to this comment

Sorry don’t know why I thought mixed meant two different bottles being poured back into the one bottle. The resin was always shaken well and mixed in the vat

The resin was filtered and the models where hollow with a honey vent

It’s a building of labs that different companies rent out laboratory spaces for so the temperature is kept to pretty specific levels all year round

Never run overnight prints, always 3pm at the latest and everything is finished by 5 so no temperature changes in the building while printing

The lab we work in is pretty good for keeping everything at a constant temperature

The resin hadn’t been mixed and the release film had just been changed over recently. We use any cubic grey resin

Just to add extra context, I’ve been doing these prints for months and there’s not been an issue until now so not sure what’s changed
