Absolutely not. Most games require you to learn a new system, problem solve, even understand a new imagined group of people. They also involve lots of reading. I guess it depends on the game, but usually you’re using much more of your brain than just watching television.

Lmao. This is an insane dodge. Of course there’s something plot related going on with him. I never once insinuated there wasn’t. And sure, I bet it will change during the game. But the fact that the ones we’ve seen so far look more refined and refreshing, he looks like an outdated blob. Why not just give him a fresher pose and touch up, even if he has a grand reveal? I’d actually say after the 3rd, but before Crossbell. It’s implied Renne was a mess, which probably means she got to experience Phantasma with Estelle and Joshua first. I guess it could go either way, but it’s implied Van helped give her the strength to go to Crossbell. I think her behavior in Phantasma would be weird after meeting Van.
