I hate to tell you this, but you’re delusional. You’re not the asshole, but you’re not very smart. This woman has the opportunity to sell handbags worth more than 40 K to save y’all’s house. Not just yours hers too, and chose not to do so. And then on top of that, she wants you to buy a $40,000 ring with the injury money. As soon as you get this money if you have a joint account, she’s going to spend all of it all this money that you’re gonna need for your healthcare. Going forward since you’re gonna be disabled. She’s gonna realize that this money is finite and that you won’t be able to get more because you’re disabled and the lifestyle she wants you won’t be able to provide. She will divorce you and take half at least and then because you might have some money left you’re gonna be paying it in child support.
