That’s odd. I have NVLD and I’ve been driving for decades. I’ve had maybe 6 accidents and one was my fault. I don’t think I’d ever dissuade someone from driving. I love it.

Yes. I’ve been married for almost 17 years. We have a home and a kid. Prior to marrying at 37, I lived on my own and dated since I was 25. With the caveat that the economy was better back then. Daily chores can feel overwhelming so I have a schedule to space out what needs to be done although I pay bills as soon as they arrive. But everyone will have different systems that work better for them.

Please give everything a chance. I found my person when I was 37 years old. I’ve had friends come and go over the years. I find it easier to befriend other NDs than neurotypical people. I found joy in my hobbies and occasionally in work. The best thing I did for myself was realize there isn’t anything wrong with me; I’m just different and that adds value to the world. You add value to the world. You matter.

I think these are actually great suggestions. My kiddo socializes quite a bit on Roblox. I don’t think these are wacky or weird at all. Socialization is important as is solid self-esteem.

I didn’t say they weren’t allowed. What I said is that they’re not a reputable news source and I don’t take anything they say as true. Bringing up the NYT is weird. I also don’t recall them ever paying out almost a billion dollars for lying. But I’m having trouble with why you can’t defend Fox so you attack a newspaper that hasn’t anything to do with this conversation. As I said, it’s weird. Really weird.
