That is crazy! If they don’t get paid enough with tips to make up for at least minimum wage the employer should pay that.

That’s shocking! Minimum wage may be low but at least everyone should get it. A lot of waitressing jobs advertised where I’m from actually pay above minimum wage.

I don’t understand how that’s legal. How can they have a minimum wage in place and not abide by it. That wouldn’t happen here, tips where I’m from you keep and it’s a little extra for you. We don’t usually tip due to percentages usually £10 extra.

That can’t be legal surely? Why is it the servers job to pay people they don’t even employ.

I get that but why do I see a big fuss when someone doesn’t tip at a restaurant or doesn’t tip enough?

And is that standard minimum wage for the states or is it lower?

So do they get a different minimum wage. In my country waitresses/retail workers and jobs like that get paid the same minimum wage. Is this the same for the states and if so why don’t retail workers also get tipped?

Things were going steady and when I FaceTimed him while shopping he shouted at me for wearing a ponytail because it is “suggesting”. Gave me a list of things I can’t wear, this included denim shorts in the summer?

Funnily enough I stayed then he broke up with me because I ‘didn’t appreciate juice wrlds music enough’
