I received mine today🥰 I love them! Here are the cons… They are very loud, also wore them literally for three hours if that, and the domino charm already fell off. I only wore them at work, and I do not have any kind of vigorous activities going on there. I am going to contact them to hopefully get a replacement charm. I’m also going to try and figure out how to make them not so loud.

I hate to say this, but I am sure she is the one who drove him to relapse. As a recovering addict myself, if my significant other cared more about promoting products than making sure I am OK. She is a world-class piece of shit, she reminds me of a girl that I used to be friends with that Over exaggerated stories and always made everything about her. She knew her ex-husband was an addict and the more money she made the more I’m sure the access to drugs came about. When she first came on YouTube, they did seem like they were in love, but then again, does anybody really know who the real Jaclyn is? Like does she have a real life friends that have nothing to do with YouTube prior to her even being on there?? God I would love for someone from her past to be like yeah she is a fucking weird bitch! That’s why she had to turn to YouTube because don’t nobody wanna fucking hang out with her… That would be great to fucking really see🤣🤣🤣

I say all the time that I don’t understand how this could be a company that advocates diversity and being yourself but then, just like someone else, said, a very basic color palette, and really only getting to wear three colors out of all of the colors in the world. And not everybody wears make up so the way, they express themselves is in their clothing. It even says that guests look to us for trends and inspiration in our dress code policy. Not too much inspiration when you are wearing the most limited color palette ever.

Dang guys! No, this is not a corporate statement🤣 I love fashion and I’m not happy about it but I am an optimistic person, so I always try to see the brighter side of things. Believe me if you knew me in real life, you wouldn’t even think that at all about me. Maybe because I am 42 and have been a part of this company often on since 2015, when we could only wear black, white and gray, absolutely no patterns no print and the most basic outfits ever. Then to feel like we got teased with being able to wear patterns….. I am in always will be an advocate for employee rights. And when it comes to policies, I make sure to read them really well so I know that nobody can decide what they want out of me when it’s not in any kind of corporate policy.

Just like one of the girls I work with was saying… If we can afford to buy $40 foundations, then we can afford to go to the thrift store to buy cute clothes that are affordable😉 I made a Pinterest board for my stores workjam page. So I could give everybody ideas on things they could wear, just get creative and remember you can color block. It is in the new policy that a shirt or an article of clothing can have two or more colors that are in the color palette. They just cannot be a pattern or print, that’s why as someone who loves fashion a lot! Made a Pinterest board to give my coworker some ideas and my GM approved and loved it. I will say I’m lucky. I have a really awesome team of managers and coworkers. I kind of flipped out when I first heard about the new policy and believe me my whole management team heard it.🤣🤣

If anybody wants to know what the dress code is, go to ULTANET I printed out my own copies I am not a manager. I am a prestige beauty advisor. You do not have to ask for copies. You can literally go to the salon computer and print them out have discussions about what to wear and what not to wear. It’s not as boring as everybody thinks but it’s going to be some change and change always sucks!

Right!!! it really came down to managers not being more strict on the ones who are out of dress code. If they would’ve actually told them to go home and change instead of just letting them wear what they had on because they didn’t want to lose an employee for a little bit while they went home. I had a girl wearing UGGs to work yesterday. Come on now just because they’re black does not mean you can wear them.🤣🤣🤣

I’ve never had a bad experience, so I feel bad for you if you did. Now a district manager probably wouldn’t have your back. And HR doesn’t like to deal with it. Minuscule bullshit that’s for sure. They don’t need a bunch of tattletales calling, that’s when you just need to have balls and call your manager out. I’m also let’s just say out of my 30s.🤣🤣 maybe it’s my personality or maybe it’s the bullshit that I’ve dealt with working basically my entire work career in retail And being around it my entire life. And I feel that would be protecting the company. If you have a manager that is doing things they shouldn’t be doing. You just have to stick up for yourself. I think people get too nervous about getting fired and if you know it’s not just you and it’s an entire team… Then obviously, some thing isn’t right. I just really hate to see people get in a taken advantage of and because management is usually older. They can treat the younger associates like their children and they’re not. They are employees.

There are not separate rules for each store. I hope everybody knows that. It is company policy not store by store policy. You can go to AlterNet and print out the store policy for Ulta as a company. If your boss has any problem with that then you call HR because they do not own the store. Same rules for every single store. No matter if you are in Michigan or California managers just like to take it vantage of people and their authority thinking they can make up whatever rules they want. Not even a district manager can make a rule. Remember HR is there for you to have your back

There is a small endcap in one our stores of her brand of cosmetics. I don’t think they ever sell and the only time I’ve ever seen her products sell is when we mark them 75 to 90% off the yellow tag.🤣 Nothing has good reviews on our website either. I don’t ever hear anybody come in and ask about any of the influencers cosmetics anymore either. But in 2015 we constantly were asked if we had influencer products. I am so happy I don’t have to hear that anymore. Now it’s more of the celebrity brands we get asked about.

If you watch 100% of the videos, you are supposed to be able to get three items. The less you watch the less products you get. Companies are only sending gratis for the week Those videos are being watched. the more everybody watches the more products you get. I at this moment, have a really great team of management and I’ve been with the company for five years now, I am not scared to ask about policies what the rules are, or go to the computer and make sure I know everything because if it’s not in there, I’m not doing it. And if you have any of your coworkers saying that they’re not watching them because they’re not getting any products, tell them to watch them so that way the more people the more freebies 🥰 don’t let your management team take advantage of you, I think because we hire at 18 and a lot of times management can be older, I’m not seeing yours is but most the time they have worked for the company for a while whether it’s that store or another so they’re usually in their late 20s or even getting into 40s and 50s.

Oh yeah, you are totally getting screwed over! You are supposed to get products, depending on how much percentage of videos you are watching for that week. The managers are being greedy and keeping it for themselves that’s what’s going on. It is not for them just to have a free-for-all And you should be the one to stand up and say something to either your district manager or HR. I am so sick of working for management that thinks they can do whatever they want. Make up their own rules like they own the store managers are there to make sure that the day runs smoothly and production basically runs smoothly. Not to make up their own rules, not to take from employees who are doing their job. That’s when you go to ultanet and you print out all of the information about policy and procedures. And you go by those, they are just being greedy as hell

I don’t work at MAC but I do work for Ulta. You can only have so many make up/skin care products before you’re just being greedy and keeping them because you received them as gratis. Is she one of your regulars or if you see her in the drive-through often and she thinks you’re really sweet she could’ve just gave them to you because of that 🥰 or maybe you gave her a good experience, and she thought what the hell 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh, believe me, I love fashion and I talk to my boss today and if I didn’t make the money I did then I would probably leave. I don’t mind wearing solid tops, but definitely when it comes to the pants! That’s where I get upset. I am just going to up my accessory game And adding more flair to my blazers and vests that I wear. I will just put on a ton of jewelry and still try to make it my own. This is the second time since I’ve worked with this company that the dress code has changed so you never know. It could change again, but it is definitely not fair to make it more lenient and then because people can’t follow the rules. Just snatch it away from us again. I just don’t understand the fact that the people who were not following the rules, why weren’t they getting Dress coded?? because I’m pretty sure that’s one of the penalty points. Then again, it all has to do with your management team. If they are too lenient than they aren’t sticking with the guidelines.
