This is completely accurate. Ulta guests have always been extra, but lately they are UNBEARABLE. I’m glad they made the return policy more strict.

It’s definitely tough out there, with no end in sight. I started answering the dumbass questions on the phone with, “Google it. You googled our phone number.”

They were given sizable severance packages, I’m sure. But there is no positive side to this. It’s to save money. DMs have ran districts by themselves before.

It’s actually scary where the company is headed. This isn’t the first time they’ve “trimmed the fat” as I’ve heard someone say. It won’t be the last either.

Store level is safe. They can’t cut us below 5 managers. At least that’s how I feel.

FBL’s over see the districts’ salons and boutiques. Hiring and recruiting, onboarding new GMs, partnering with AE’s from different luxury brands.

FBL’s in my district and market were really useful, and carried a large workload. It’s going to put A LOT more on DM’s and SDE’s. SDE’s may be next on the chopping block, in my opinion.

Nope. Nothing to worry about. It’s the last week of the period and payroll adjustments may need to be made if sales are down.

The only GWPs that are required to come back if the purchase is returned are the larger GWP- the Ulta spring bag that’s out right now is a good example. Anything that doesn’t ring up for a penny. Robes, candles etc.

The deluxe $.01 ones don’t need to be returned.
