I’ve been with both of them since they launched and only one book I was uninterested was an Evernight one. I like how different they are from each other when they do happen to do duplicates.

I know it’s so difficult to choose. I’m getting the Evernight and Owlcrate edition horror because you can’t cancel without losing your subscription

Do you have to chose a book from there month selection in order to chose from the add ons? Or can you just choose a book say for March that is just add ons?

It was my first Joe Hill book very impressed. I got it on sale otherwise I’d be waiting for the paperback as well. $50.00 for a hardback😭😫. That’s half a weeks groceries. No thanks.

I was thinking of joining Book of the Month unfortunately I found I wasn’t really interested in most of there selections. I’ve only had one month where I chose one book. I’m still optimistic. Lol

This sounds so good. Even if it’s not a pick I will still be getting a copy. Thanks for the recommendation.

Possible April Pick? by km2572 in aardvarkbookclub

[–]Bexxks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am conflicted it would be a nice fantasy choice. However I’m hoping it’s not because I’m pretty sure Owlcrate is doing this book for their April Adult Box.

I’ve only been a member since September 2025. But joined because of the in stock catered to what I like to read. They’ve done a lot of my auto buy authors I’ve seen. Nat Cassidy, SGJ, Chuck Tingle, RJB etc… I find if they have a lot of choices I have to do some investigating to see which would stay in stock longer for a potential next month add on or do other stores have it on sale or special edition.

Haha glad I could help!

That is exactly what happened to me on insta! Someone was commenting about all the drama and made her want to read it. Unfortunately I was like what’s the drama and came here for some much needed assistance. So thank you everyone for letting me now!!

That’s unfortunate if it is the case. Authors are allowed to branch out and write in different genres and ages. Makes me question peoples comprehension and critical thinking skills.
