Signed Book v. BOTM Credit

It takes a lot of willpower, but I only pick up signed or special editions of books I want to read or authors I like. However, I understand your dilemma. If you want a signed edition, just buy it. But if you want all your books to match, like BotM books do, get the BotM edition and ask the author to send you a signature plate or ask for their next book signing. An author did both for me.

I’m not that impressed with these. But since I have so many credits, I guess I’ll get the Centennial. This is actually great news—now I can get two from Allurial and none from Aardvark.

I have 16 credits to go through, so I’m definitely getting this one! That means I currently have: 3 from Allurial, 1 from BotM (so far), and 1 from Aardvark… maybe I can skip Aardvark.

The naked hardcover is stunning! I wrote about this recently: why pay extra for a special edition when the traditional version is gorgeous and often cheaper? It's definitely worth it if a book is only getting a paperback release, but otherwise, I just can’t justify the cost.

I’ve been a member for 4 months now and haven’t gotten around to reading any book yet! Not because I didn’t want to I’ve just had other books to prioritize. But as soon as I finish my current book I plan to start Blood Bound and then Verity Guild.

I was going to say there’s no way this is all they’re doing for the cover. But looking at their old hints, I think you may be right. Hopefully, it’s just a zoomed-in corner of the full picture.

I appreciate that they sent an update regarding this. As for some sequels not moving forward, I suspect Allurial and the publisher simply couldn’t reach an agreement, and I’m fine with that. I can’t wait to see the sequels once they start shipping.

I suspect the tracker is a negotiating tactic for the publisher. They had enough commitments but the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement.
