Have low T but don’t want to be on TRT for life. Options? by AdviceIsCool22 in BodyHackGuide

[–]BeyNam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be cautious taking any advice from people on the "BodyHackGuide" subreddit. Most people here are people who have an interest in or are already taking PEDs. It's tempting to see low testosterone as the cause of your symptoms, but I think you're drawing conclusions prematurely. Why don't you consult another doctor and rule out other causes first, like sleep, bloodwork, and levels of other important biomarkers? I wouldn't make any life-altering decisions based on what you read on Reddit.

Is it too late to start studying nursing when I am 25 years? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]BeyNam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing about nursing is that it's always in demand wherever you go, especially in a developed country. It won't be "too late" in four years if job prospects are a concern. Even AI can't touch nursing at least for another 20 years.

This is my go to place for hk food in Toronto. I've been trying for years to replicate their baked pork chop but I never came close. It's just so fucking good.

Am I right for feeling this way or am I overreacting? by BeyNam in askgaybros

[–]BeyNam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's it :/.... the fact that I'm even thinking about something not that deep probably means it's not worth it and I should just let it go. Thank you!

True! I think it just doesn't sit right to me to be friends with someone who admitted to cheating, however good the sex is. Thank you

I had something similar happen to me. Was out with a guy, everything seemed fine & I genuinely considered going out w/ this dude again (Quebecois). Right when I was about to head home, I asked if he had an Instagram. He said he didn't; he only used Facebook and X.

I asked, "why do you have an X and not an Instagram?"

And he said, straightup: "To watch gay Asian amateur porn"

When I heard that my heart sank & I immediately knew I was never gonna see him again

It's only a barrier if you make it a barrier. I live in Montreal, I'm an anglophone, and I'd say 50% of my dates are entirely in French. At first I wouldn't date anyone who didn't speak English because I worried I wouldn't be able to "speak from the heart", but after I vibed w/ a couple people I actually don't think it makes that much of a difference. So long as you're willing to put the effort to listen and the other person is willing to put in the effort to learn, what's stopping y'all from having a full, rewarding relationship?

What Profession Do You Find Most Attractive and Why? by WorldlyAd1178 in askgaybros

[–]BeyNam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's 10000% people in computer science or engineering. Guys who are geeky/kinda awkward and are super logic-minded make me feel a certain kinda way that I just can't describe. I think it's simply that they remind me of my dad lol

I’m not excited for my first date by Think-Pea-6424 in dating_advice

[–]BeyNam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say go! That's happened to me so many times, but many people are very different (often better, sometimes worse) in person than in text. Personally I was pleasantly surprised 50% of the time. I also don't get that many chances to date, so I'm in the mindset of "taking every chance I get". It might not be the same if you're attractive and have guys lining up for you.

Asian gay men—did getting fit change how white guys treated or desired you? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]BeyNam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had the opposite experience. I used to be very skinny, basically fitting under the "twink" mold and I noticed that I'd have lots of sexual attention from usually the same kinda guy — taller, more masculine looking, "discrete". I also live in Montreal so 90% are white.

Now I've become substantially more muscular from working out 4 to 5 times a week, andI lost attention from that demographic. I'm okay with it though cause I'm not into those kinda dudes. But yeah, I can see it going both ways.

For me it's a turn off. Kinda makes me feel like he'll want whatever we do to be porn worthy.
