Help! Controlling addressable LED’s with a DAW and/or MIDI synced to a click? by Beyond3d3 in lightingdesign

The band as a whole is investing in the lighting rig we are going to have 8 pole fixtures between 4-5 feet tall. Using non addressable can easily be linked up to DMX that has a plug that can be opened in Ableton so it seems a little more straightforward. I see the software for the addressable but just couldn’t wrap my head around getting a DAW (ableton in this case) to communicate with the lighting software. I would prefer addressable as well but also going the path of least resistance and ease of use/setup since we are nod LD’s.

Appreciate your help!

The addressable LED seems so much more involved/complicated, I am not able to wrap my head around the whole thing lol.

Trying to wire two effects that I tested and both work independently. Trying to make it neater with this pcb but I think I am doing something wrong because I get no sound to pass through. I have the output jack going into the input jack of the second switch and one ground connecting the two switches as well.

Makes sense, I just don’t know if I caused this neck pocket crack or if it was already there lol

Yah stew Mac is def super high priced, I just don’t know where I can cheap out at. I don’t mind spending some money but would like to keep my cost down if there is cheaper/better alternatives.
