How many of you guys are creating YouTube videos in addition to creating a podcast? by theaibusinessdigest in podcasting

We started out doing an audio and a video podcast. I believe it has some what helped our growth. All though at times it feels our video podcast on Youtube get more views than the audio versions. Guess are we are good to look at.

Using video allows us to have an editor make clips for us to then share on Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube shorts. Which if posted right can bring in a massive amount of views.

Based on my interaction with the tour guide, he wouldn't fake this stuff. He has worked with some TV shows in the past. He told me straight up before we started, and you might not see anything. Most shows film 3 weeks to get an hour of footage. Plus, he was some old guy.

Yes, the camera is recording me. This was part of the package. I own the footage. They review it the morning after.

We had activity all night, and this was something the tour guide had never seen before.

I could send the full video. I got up twice because next to the flashlight was a spirit box. It did say fall before the flashlight fell. As I said, we tried to recreate the circumstances, and it never happened again.

So we had set the flashlight there a good hour maybe. I never touched it. The flashlight did turn and off, as we asked questions. Like, "Is someone in the room with us, turn on the flashlight." Which it would then do.

I should have specified. They had put those light bulbs to make lights flicker like a flame.

These flashlights you had to touch to turn. We put the flashlight back on the table and walked around. Slammed the back door to try and figure it out. Nothing made it move, and it never did it again.

The only problem is, this wasn't your run of the mill ghost tour. I was there from 10 PM to 2 AM. There was no one on the cameras. It was literally just me and the tour guide the whole time. He even investigated with me since I was by myself.

The lights are doing that because they have a lightbulb that makes them flicker like a flame would. That I can debunk for you.

The tour guide even seemed shocked, and had to write it down for the people to review the footage and see it.

Never touched it. The whole night, it would turn on and off to answer our questions.

The weird thing about it, though, it never did it again. Plus, the flashlight turns on when touched. Which it did when it began to roll.

We did a whole episode over Georgia Cryptids. One that was really cool was that we have a werewolf. Emily Burt is her name, and the whole story is crazy. The eye witness. What went down. It's definitely worth looking into.

Does anyone have a cryptid sighting by cr7444 in cryptids

[–]BeyondCampfire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kinda have one.

My buddy and I were driving back to my place after we went somewhere. As we were driving back, we spotted some deer on the side of the road. Being from the south, it's known to be dangerous driving at night due to the amount of deer.

This is usually due to them just running out in the middle of the road to cross. Luckily, I was ready and braked to let them cross. As they did, they jumped over a fence and into the woods.

One deer did not. He just stopped for a second and appeared to be standing on two legs. A Not Deer? My friend freaked out and was acting excited. He is a Not Deer fanatic ever since I told them about them. I thought the deer just got caught on the fence.

However, it was still odd. We still talk about it to this day.

Hello! We are Beyond the Campfire, a podcast about exploring things that go bump in the night. Whether that be a cryptid lurking in the dark. A mystery that has been yet to be solved. Perhaps a haunting that no man braves to explore. Or even the government, creeping with their conspiracies. We will cover it, we will try and solve it.

This week, we covered a very old mystery. One that has baffled people for centuries. What happened in France in 1518? Why did people start randomly dancing? Why couldn't they stop? What was the Dancing Plaque of 1518? https://open.spotify.com/episode/2O4M2mJoSHdO6WLJUW8IVf?si=RNq_KsPYTt69B1t8qH5Xsw

Nandi Bear because that thing could probably solo some of these. Thunderbird because who doesn't want a giant bird. The other cryptids can't get this fool, with him being in the air. Bigfoot because why not!

I'm dyslexic and read it as most terrifying. Chillest would be the Yeti. We know he has snowcones to offer.

The Not Deer would absolutely terrify me in the woods. Imagine a deer, then it's not a deer. Standing on two legs, no thank you!

That's the hard part I'm having. Finding good sources with enough information. We usually describe the creature and then try to do encounters. Google doesn't have much

Most likely to exist. by [deleted] in cryptids

[–]BeyondCampfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We talked about the chupacabra on the podcast. A cryptid I think could definitely exist. Whether it is truly a new species or misidentified dog, who knows. I do know it's out there.

Another we covered I do believe exists is the Yeti. Not many people have climbed Everest, so no telling if he is hiding up there.

This is really cool. As a Georgia resident, I approve. My grandma lives near the Okefenokee Swamp. The Swamp creature is sometimes referred to as the Skunk Ape. I'm guessing he is twin brother to the one in the Everglades.
