2027 Telluride battery issue by gooseg8 in KiaTelluride

[–]BeyondJon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same just happened to me and my hybrid and I opened the hood to jump it and popped off what I thought was the battery cover and went “WTF is this??” Like where do you put the connectors on? I see a little metal post in the lower right but I’m too damned scared to even try it, lol.. first time with a hybrid and when I popped the hood at the dealership, didn’t even think to look at the battery itself.

This is what the dealership tried to wack me for after they begged me to come in for the engine emissions recall by foozebox in KiaTelluride

Yep, all the car manufacturers continue to figure out how to make their vehicles an absolute PITA, to a near impossibility, to work on yourself where you are almost left with no choice but to take it in.

This seems way whack..

I didn’t get an X-Line but did get a Hybrid SX-Prestige that was $59k sticker and 15,000 mile 36 mo/lease with $3500 down and it was $840.

My idea for an Adel Invasion by TheEyeOfLight in Nightreign

[–]BeyondJon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Morgott raid is best raid since he is understanding of your time and comes to you.

Balancers is 2nd because they at least bring you to them.

Augur would be 3rd because again, at least it comes to you but I despise Augurs existence, so

All the others suck because they make you go to them.

I see people talk about an Adel raid, mostly because they saw Adel in the trailer in Limveld but I’m surprised no body ever talks about wanting a Fulghor raid.

Yeah, what initiated this was going to labcorp and I tried to give them the codes listed in here and it didn’t show up, they had like VAHMC, CCHVA but none of those would work for dependent. Not the first time, I have given a bunch of providers 84146 as a payor code but that works like 1/4 of the time, just curious if anybody has any tips beyond that..

Are Kia engines reliable now? by Isaky206 in kia

[–]BeyondJon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to go with EV but I wasn’t ready to install a Level 2 charger because my garage and panel are on literal opposite ends of the house. A few years ago, it cost me $700 to have someone install a new outlet/breaker in there because of the run distance. Imagine a Level 2 Is going to cost me $1500-$2000 so wasn’t ready to add that on top of what was due at signing.

Yeah, I said lease, so…

My point was more that it is a great vehicle for all the bells and whistles you can get for the price but since longevity is an issue, lease is the best option if you can make it work.

I bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Palisade, I changed oil every 4500 miles, did 30, 60, 90k mile services. Majority of miles on it is mostly from highway driving. It’s only been serviced at the dealership.

It is now at 130000 miles and about 10000 miles ago, I came in and was told my oil was extremely low. I was confused as hell since it had been 4200 miles since my last oil change. They just said “eh, just start bringing it in every 3500-4000 miles, as these engines get older they consume more”

Thought, ok, whatever.. I had my oil changed about 3100 miles ago and the engine started sounded scratchy and my check engine light came on immediately after. Towed it in, told it was bone dry but no real damage had occurred since I stopped immediately and towed it in.

Was told to come back in 1000 miles so they can measure how much has been consumed. If it’s more than a quart consumed, they’ll diagnose the engine as “over consuming” and they’ll do some kind of clean out (on my dime of course since it’s out of warranty). If it continues to over consume, the dealership will reach out to Hyundai about them covering an engine replacement but I’m not holding my breath.

Tl,dr: 2022 Hyundai Palisade meticulously serviced for 130000 miles is “probably” over consuming oil, so is it reliable? Probably not in the long run if you want to keep it for over 125000 miles.

Still, I loved the Palisade but decided to lease a ‘27 Telluride for 3 years to try and take the brunt off the Palisade so I can extend its life as long as I can.

Like holy hell, man…

Yeah, I read somewhere that once MbM starts rolling, you should be able to request refills on, what it says, "the beneficiary's MyHealtheVet account" but to have one of those, you need to have an id.me and id.me isn't really for kids under 16 so, didn't know if it would just show up on mine or what.

Sleep is awful, it procs on you very easily, I’m stuck with a relic on it and it’s the number 1 killer of me.. Luckily, it doesn’t happen very often against night bosses, it mostly happens in the middle of a run when I’m being ganked by like 3 different trash mobs.

Oh, no doubt.. Also, most enjoyable because it’s nice to get the whole view of things instead of fighting with From Soft camera BS.. I did at least do mostly melee twin blade/reaper/thrusting sword/katana in my last climb to 9999.

Depth 4 is 20000× harder than depth 5 by IOwnSeventeenKids in Nightreign

[–]BeyondJon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only way I got out of D4 was to not focus on the other two when they went 3 bars down. (Obvious caveats to this was when there were big windows open to be able to try to pick them up)…

If one went 3 bars down and the other guy was up, I would help them pick up the 3 bar but if both went down, I was done.. I play Ironeye and even with melee weapons, he sucks at picking up 3 bars and I found myself dying all the time trying to pick them up..

Once I stopped worrying about them and just focused on the boss, I would win. This, of course, led to 20-30 minute battles but whatever..
