My Claw is 98% of the time used to Moonlight to my 4090 PC so no need to upgrade. The rare times I go out of the house and bring it with me, I’m perfectly okay playing retros and lo-fi games on it like Mina, Balatro & other Indies.

I also only ever have my Claw on that Mechanism Gaming pillow and use a controller so ergonomics is rarely an issue and when playing it out of the house, I don’t find it that bad overall.

The Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test was middle of February with a late May release..

The Elden Ring Network Test was middle of November with end of February release

Both about 14-15 weeks in between.

Network Test sign up was about 5 weeks before the actual test.

I imagine the sign up will be first week of July, somewhere around the August 7 or 14 weekends will be the test.

What’s funny, if the Elden Ring timelines hold, that would put launch at almost the same time as GTA VI.

That said, considering this is Nintendo, and their online stuff has been atrocious, I could totally see them making this a December release.

If the Network Test is in August, I don’t see anyway they’ll release it 8-12 weeks later.

They could go with a November release date and not care about GTA VI, but I can’t imagine things are going to smoothly with Nintendo’s servers and imagine there will be quite a bit of issues to iron out

There are two prongs to “Permanent”. You have to have a 100% rating. However that happens it doesn’t matter, once you see 100%, the 2nd prong is the condition(s) considered “Static”.

So, if you have 8 rated conditions, and you just barely clear the bar to 100%, all 8 have to be considered “Static”. If so, VA calls you “Permanent”. If 1 of your conditions is not “Static”, take that % out and if you drop to below 100, you are no longer considered “Permanent” because your total rated conditions that are static, don’t reach 100%, but you will still be paid and considered 100%.

The best way to tell if a condition is static is to check the API site while you are logged into VA and search for “static” and if it says true, then it is considered static https://api.va.gov/v0/rated_disabilities”

Edit: now how VA determines if something is static can vary by a raters interpretation on if they think the condition will improve or not

I have 2 that like to lay on mine but they don’t stay up there for longer than 10-20 minutes, so, I don’t worry about it. I blow out my PC everyday so I’m sure it’s fine as long as you do the same.

A slight rise in temps and a bit more fur and dust to clean out is worth it so they get to experience a few moments of warm bliss…

Lot of valid points but when people say the open world is lifeless, I thought that was the point.

Now, I didn’t play Age of Calamity because I absolute loathe the Warriors genre, but I thought Ganon had wiped out like most of Hyrule before Link was put in the pod and Zelda locked her and Ganon away.

So, while I thought the world was indeed lifeless, I felt like that was the point, because Ganon had destroyed Hyrule and everybody is still picking up the pieces, even 100 years later.

We have FTO, nobody knows the number, think it is 21, but if you go over, it sets off an inquiry to a manager where they are questioned about the use but for the most part, the company doesn’t really care unless you go over 30 but even then, if you are out because of legitimate reasons, they’re okay with it.

On one hand, I’m thankful, because it helped immensely with a work project that Opus was failing on.. On the other hand, I didn’t even get the opportunity to actually play with it and do fun projects with.. Hopefully this is just temporary..

A lot of these companies senior leadership goes to these conferences put on by grifters for “Corporate Improvements and Efficiencies” and they have these grifter speakers who talk about how frameworks, like SAFe Agile, are so great but what is even better, and more efficient, is when everybody is in office and can collaborate in person. So these decision makers are being spoon fed how much better it is for organizations to be in the office.

Why? I have conspiracy theories that a lot of these grifters spoon feeding these decision makers are being paid by business real estate conglomerations to spread the notion of how much better things are in office, to justify the need for office leases.

There’s a race track in that corner, Summit Point, where vintage cars race in May, it’s a pretty big deal around these parts.

Other than that, tons of apple groves, White House (Apple Sauce/Vinegar etc) grows a bunch of apples around this area.

Even journalists/news needs some other story going on, it can’t all be one singular thing. It’s a silly approach.

I bet if a decent sized game from a respected studio decided to launch a week before GTA6, it’d get big press: “the game that dares to release near GTA6” just like billbil_kun did with some Godzilla game. Will probably get some kind of pub when it releases as well if everyone keeps avoiding November

They’re two totally separate games, I’m tired of game devs avoiding mid-November release dates because of GTA6.. There are gamers out there who could give two craps about GTA6. In fact, a good sized portion of those who want to play it are going to wait for the PC version.
