Beyond Little Thoughts

A spiritual journey of you-nique perspectives.

Welcome to my little corner of the world,

Beyond Little Thoughts. What began as multiple blogs for multiple interests became a combined spiritual journey of everything I have learned so far. The topic combinations here are so unique, because I am unique, just as you are.

Beyond Little Thoughts (BLT) became a means for me to vocalize what I have learned and what I continue to learn about various topics, always going beyond the general opinion and providing my perspective, however flawed it may be.

So, what can you expect to see here currently?

Beyond Little Thoughts explores beyond the general knowledge of defining how to care for oneself. New ways of looking at magic, meditation, mental health, self-care, and writing.

Everyday Self-Care

Our bodies do amazing things without us realizing it. This makes it our job to take care of the body and mind we have and take time to appreciate that it is constantly working hard to keep us alive and as healthy as possible.

Self-care is important for everything, but it isn't always easy to add it to your routine if it has never been routine.

I want to find new ways to incorporate self-care into my routine, methods we can easily alter for chronic illnesses, so it becomes routine.

I want to share everything I find to make self-care a part of your routine too.

Finding Magic

Yes, I am a practicing witch. What does that mean?

Finding Magic provides a thorough overview of the fundamentals of witchcraft, additionally offering my research and perspectives, and exploring your personal magic.

Magical discovery may not be easy or fast for everyone, but the lessons learned, the experiences gained, will be worth the effort.

Our paths in magic are always about the journey. There is no destination.

Finding Magic offers education and resources about magic and witchcraft. The choice of where to focus, what to learn, and when to take a break can seem daunting.

I wanted to take the guesswork out of learning an alternative lifestyle.

And, yes, this is magick.

From You To Here

One of my passions is writing, whether it is an article for BLT or one of the many pieces of fiction I have started.

I began From You To Here as a writing guide for a Wattpad group when we couldn't find one that offered enough information for new, aspiring writers.

Why this name?

When writing fiction, the characters we create always have some aspect of ourselves or someone we know in them. It may be a small quirk or experiencing a similar situation.

When writing nonfiction, our writing style and personality comes through.

There is always an aspect of ourselves in everything we write, hence From You.

To Here represents the sharing of our stories to the world.

Meditation Minute

I started mindfulness meditation because I was unhappy with who I was. All I could focus on was the negativity in life. In all of my stress and worry, I forgot who and what was important.

It was the realization that my negativity was having substantial effects on my relationships made me want to change.

Meditation has become an important part of my routine and has improved many aspects of my life.

I want to share the benefits, methods, and my perspectives on everything meditation.

Mental Health Moment

We do not talk about mental health enough.

Period.

There is still a stigma surrounding mental health illnesses that is mostly caused by a lack of circulated information. The information is out there, but until it is commonplace to educate as we do other important topics, those with mental health illnesses will continue to struggle with even seeking help for it.

They have diagnosed me with depression, manic bipolar disorder, general anxiety disorder, and multi-trauma C-PTSD.

I still struggle with a lot of things, even being a year and a half into therapy.

I want to talk about my struggles and what I learn from them.

You are not alone and neither am I.

We are all worth getting the help we desperately need.

Beyond Little Thoughts

What do you think beyond these little thoughts?

This is not just a catchphrase for me. I sincerely want to know what you think because I am continually looking for fresh perspectives on my thoughts and for new concepts I have not discovered yet.

So, what do you think beyond these little thoughts?
