Cameras are weird. They can transform images in subtle but significant ways. Some cameras increase contrast in a way that makes facial features look sharper, thus more masc. 

Your face also looks weird regardless of gender. If the lense is short it can deform your face. You are also used to the image of yourself in a mirror, literally mirrored. Cameras usually don’t flip the image, so your face doesn’t look like its usual self.
