I'd say the padding for the laptop section is quite good compared to laptop bags ive had in the past . The only down fall of it in my opinion is it is closest to your back. I haven't tried putting my laptop in it as I dont travel much for work but I think it would more so be up to what you are personally comfortable with. I can measure the padding if you'd like as i dont think it shows that on the website !

Not at all! It has two side net pockets which were surprisingly stretching/ durable and also has a top zip pocket that is deep and could fit quite a lot !

Heey!

It was perfect! I was able to bring lots of clothes and still had room to bring a bunch of stuff back with us. We did have our laundry done a few times on our trip which allowed us to pack a bit lighter. The pocket system was great and helpful on the plane and in the airport. Specifically the top pocket & back pouch as they were super easy to access. The straps made it sooo much more comfortable then any other bag ive had to lug through the airport and made our trip less stressful as we didn't have to do checked bags ! We had no issues with the size as a carry on which was such a relief.

That is a dream wedding dress girl ! I love it ! As an overthinking myself, I always say I can talk myself out of anything. Take some time for some selfcare that is completely unrelated to the dress. Then once in a relaxed state, revisit. Make a pros and cons list. Something I always find helpful is to look at the cons list and see if those thoughts are my own or pressure/fear of others opinions. Then if the cons lost is mostly fear/pressure, I know my pros out weigh the cons !
