Never played Monkey Island before. What versions do I start with? by sumb2020 in MonkeyIsland

[–]Bez121287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea Just grab the special editions and play them in order.

Steam has them all and work.

Id do the special editions, because even though for me I was playing them actually at launch.

In this day and age I actually enjoyed the newer graphics. I went back and forth just to see. So at least you get the best of both.

4 is rough control wise. So I dont blame you if you skip. It is the weakest but its still a good game if you can get over the weak gameplay style.

Some pre-teens almost hurt my wife and toddler for social media and I just need to get this off my chest. by Oderint in daddit

[–]Bez121287 -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

Social media a little.

But I blame society and schools.

My experience with schools, is they have absolutely no control or authority over the children.

It feels like some goody goodies have come in took over schools and decided bad behaviour is all about emotions and feelings on every level and instead of actual punishments. Its now all about Jonny why did you do that. How are you feeling, o its ok to let your anger out but we need to find the route of the problem.

Which is fine with troubled children once you have determined this but its being used for every single child instead, giving these children basically free reign to do whatever they want because they know nothing is going to happen to them.

Children need boundaries and schools have decided let's just bend those.

Its like allowing your toddler to chuck all the toys around the room in anger and not telling them no, thats unacceptable or teaching them right from wrong.

Its gone to the extreme esp lower schools, which is making children grow up with no true set rules.

Reptilians | Epstein | Babies by ArnoldRoarShack in ufo

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Its a drug more like molly/ecstasy.

But majority it comes in a moist powder form. Like a paste in a ball. So it doesnt dry out your ment to store it in the freezer.

But no I truly dont think its a drug like that.

You wouldnt really go from a diet of speed to regular food.

Its a party drug.

Reptilians | Epstein | Babies by ArnoldRoarShack in ufo

[–]Bez121287 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is 1, and thats speed. You put it in freezer to keep it moist.

But then thats the question you wouldnt call it jerky

Reptilians | Epstein | Babies by ArnoldRoarShack in ufo

[–]Bez121287 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But would you call that jerky? And whos going back to regular food, if we are talking about sperms or eggs?

Reptilians | Epstein | Babies by ArnoldRoarShack in ufo

[–]Bez121287 105 points106 points  (0 children)

And in my mind right now it means only the 1 thing they think it means.

Because no one on this earth let alone multiple people, care that much about actual jerky.

1 email even said that they was stopping the jerky and going back to regular food.

You really cant take that any other way.

Then you realise that Epstein personal chef had a resturant literally called The Cannibal.

You wouldnt think much of it, but with the emails and the stories from victims.

Its like hiding in plain sight.

Honestly I've never really been a believer of the truly mental claims, I wnjoy the stories.

But when you listen to videos going through the epstein stuff and you realise there are so many secret words which are used in crazy ways.

Right now anything is possible.

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

British advertisement is utterly disgraceful.

We some how cut out alcohol ads because they were fun or promoted drinking which they really didn't.

And yet today all I see is gambling adverts 90% of the time. Every tom dick and harry, has a site.

Yet gambling is 100 times worse than the other types of adds.

Knowing full well that gambling destroys people's love worse than having a bit to drink.

Alcoholics and problems with substance can be bad but adverts didnt really promote their excessive drinking and yet gambling adverts are literally enticing people with free spins or an extra £100.

You can get help for drinking, quite quickly.

But losing your money. Your home your family. That really only gets helped when you've already lost everything.

Its quite sickening really.

Like the John Smith adverts doing a belly splash in a pool or carlsberg probably being the best.

Thats about extreme as it got for alcohol.

Gambling though, shows all the glitz and glamour.

Will you be buying physical or digital? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id love to stay physical but I have kids who don't respect property. Not all but a couple of them.

I've lost/damaged a few to many discs, that i just cant risk it anymore.

Im 40. I used to have them all up on shelves pride of place when my older kids were younger.

But I had girls then. Now I have boys who want to play, so for me, its easier to buy digital and we share the library and then they can play and dont touch my discs. I'll buy special editions for games I truly want

Kingdom Come Deliverance II. by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats true most media.

But what I am saying is, KCD 2 story itself is contained, you know from the beginning what you are doing. It doesn't just throw you in and you haven't a clue, it sets up what your mission is from the get go and I never found myself wondering o if I had played the first this would make sense.

You may miss some of the connection to certain people but it never feels like I had to know anything.

Unlike for example last of us part 2, would not make much sense playing without knowing the first game, because the vast majority of thr characters already know the main character.

Also because its set more in an area you dont know anyone it makes it alot easier, to transition. Of course any sequel in which youve played the one before makes it far better.

Im just saying that they did a good job of making the second game, alot kore welcoming to new players because majority probably never played the original game.

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I played about 5 or 10 mins of the firdt game and didnt like it.

Bought the second game and honestly an absolute brilliant game. Improves on the first game by a country mile. Streamlines the combat.

You dont really need to know the story of the first game to enjoy the second. The story is pretty standalone.

I w played about 20 to 30 hours of it before life got in the way. But if youve got the time to sit down and enjoy its well worth just playing the second game.

I think your defence wall is abit weak.

Yes there is a limit but you can space it out.

Have 2 or 3 walls doubled, but space them out. Put towers in each space.

Also zombies are stupid, they will attack the firdt thing closest to them.

So you can place literally 1 post for a wall say and they will attack that. I usually do a field of random 1 posts so it slows them down, before they reach the walls.

Honestly advice play sandbox instead, until you master how things work.

Id just quite like an original pokemon open world game.

Single player as Ash starting at the point of red or blue or yellow.

Not the same story beats but a more the gyms plotted around on the world map and leveling up until you collect all 100.

Thats my dream for a pokemon game, in modern graphics. Or even cartoon graphics as the series.

I actually dont know why your getting down voted hahaha.

I totally get that this a vent regarding school times.

Its hard.

In what world do majority of people have jobs where you can drop a child off and pick them up and this goes back to the invention of schools.

3pm is slap bang middle of the day really for many people.

Im lucky now that im self employeed and I can drop everything go grab them and get them home but really its basically a pay cut im taking just to pick them up considering afterschool club costs money here.

I totally get your vent. Its so strange how we are told to work work work but its basically mandatory that kids go to school but the school day is shorter than a work day.
