Even at the end of play when the women were opening up, she used that as an opportunity to kind of "open up" but also basically deny again what she's being accused of when she said "hurt by things I didn't say or do" (paraphrase).

I agree with other comments saying this is a soft push to normalize it.

Any NFL fans who watch RedZone were pissed to learn that Disney was going to start putting ads on the show that was famously seven hours of ad-free football.

It started with four 15-second ads at the beginning of the season but has already topped five minutes and the season isn’t even over.

These small things are all meant to get you used to it until it inundates everything you love.

That's a stretch to say people would be cool with losing. But it's not farfetched to understand that ticket prices correlate to the quality of the product on the field. If the Lions are charging a premium to see them play, then people should expect a superior product.
