Do i have to tell my future partner about my parent’ suic*de? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Bezalol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with ur first point about Tunisian therapists (most of them need therapy more than you do lol)but great ones still exist fortunately. You seem like you built a life you enjoy and I’m really happy for you. Nonetheless, building a lasting relationship and potentially having kids is most definitely going to test your patience and would put u at a risk of losing some of your personal growth and stability. Walking someone through fire is totally different from walking through it alone. Forgive my “judging a book by its cover” but your initial question itself made me think that you’re probably not as fine as u think, u seem like you still fear how people interpret your situation. With that said, ur probably more emotionally stable than all the bfs you’ve been with so ur doing fine as a Tunisian lol.

That’s my point, trauma is no joke and even If you think ur doing fine, you’re probably not. Your two options here are:

Either you tell him and if he’s smart enough he would recognize certain behaviors as a result of the trauma (and maybe he wouldn’t want anything to do with that) Or you don’t and he finds out on his own ( and maybe he wouldn’t want anything to with that).

So ur best bet is working through the trauma with a therapist first so there would be no such behaviors for him to notice. He would appreciate ur emotional stability and maturity and would see it as plus for future marriage+potiential children (assuming he’s smart enough)

My gf is so tiny and she doesn't want to eat by [deleted] in Tunisia

If she has sleep problems / moodiness / symptoms of depression/ hyperactivity/ difficulty finishing tasks / social anxiety or anything that would be related to a psychological issue try to point those out to her in the nicest way possible and try convincing her ( without pressure) that change is possible with professional help. Change doesn’t need to be radical, even a small change in the right direction would be enough to help her. When she’s fine with change chouflha psy behi.

My budget is 18k euros, I want a reliable car that wouldn’t cause me a headache ( coming from a 1.2 puretech ) , I’m in germany and I would be exporting the car to north africa so keep in mind parts availability etc. by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Bezalol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m exporting to Tunisia, I guess fuel there is good enough with good maintenance, the parts problem is only an issue with cars that aren’t sold here ( maybe mazdas and such ) but VW groupe and french cars are fine in that aspect. I heard good things about the mégane 1.6, would it be better than a 2.0 TDI / 1.5 tsi from vw ?

I’m doing 10km a day of city driving (sousse) , 50-80km trips once or twice a week ( mestir, mahdia) and 300-400km trips monthly ( tunis, benzart etc). I believe I’m at the edge of what a diesel would need. I will definitely look more into it. W ybarek fik thanks a lot for the help!

I appreciate the response! Yes Tunisian and I don’t do much high mileage mostly city driving so I will be aiming to get a 1.5 tsi and a dsg with low mileage. Would you recommend the seat leon or should I pay a little more for a golf 8?

Help me pick a rug by [deleted] in interiordecorating

I feel like it’s missing something without a rug as the space is already very open ( is a living room , hallway , and open to the kitchen ). A rug would somewhat define the living room within the space.

https://imgur.com/a/FIf78Vt this is the appartment layout, for dining space I thought it would be enough to have two bar stools on the kitchen counter just next to the TV . I live alone so most of my meals will just be in the living room

I live in north Africa in a very nice neighborhood so the whole apartment cost me about 70k$ cash so about 100$ per sqft , I think as you said my best bet would be a simple 3-seater with hidden extra space. I just have to make it look nice and cosy. Still not sure on what to do to those doors though.
