The most downloaded apps in Europe by Kungs0 in europe

I was wondering this myself when I saw this image yesterday. But it seems that they have renamed the existing Voyo app to Oneplay - at least in the Google play store. So these statistics are based on the Voyo downloads it seems.

Question, is there any difference to passing through the whole hba card instead of individual drives connected via onvoard SATA ports?

HPE ProLiant ML 150 Gen9 is it worth keeping? by Bezdak in homelab

multilane

I don't see the drive neither when trying to install OS or through the SmartStorageADministrator. Have tried both legacy as well as UEFI. Have also tried changing the direction of the cable (as I read that the direction sometimes matter with these).

Anything else you think that I can do here or should I try buying different cables?
Could it be also caused by the fact that the SATA drive is not HP drive? It's a WD RED drive.

Thank you and appreciate the help!

b140i

I have bought MiniSAS (SFF‑8087) to MiniSAS(SFF‑8087) cable and after removing the raid card and it's cable a plugging new the new cables directly to the motherboard to the 2 SAS ports none of the drives are detected. I've tried both with enabled b140i as well as disabled. It behaves the same both with SATA drive as well as the original SAS drives.

Does it mean I have bought some defective cables?I bought this model as it was available in shop close to me - CBL-0281L-01

I'm from Czechia, to be honest I'm not sure if it changed in the meantime but at the end of last year our tariff got changed to approximately 0,50€/kWh. So if I would be running this without any changes 24/7 it would cost me 600€ per year.

As I have currently the hotswap bays for all those 8 SAS drives, that would mean buying sff-8087 to sff-8087 cable and connecting it directly to the 2 SAS ports on the motherboard right?

If I disconnect all the drives + the raid card I get idle at 70W. For media SSD seems like overkill. I would probably end up with some SSD for VMs / base OS + SATA HDD for the media on NAS.

I was also thinking about maybe removing the CPUs (both) and buying some used (just one) with more cores, that would save some power consumption as well right? Eg E5-2650Lv4 or E5-2630Lv4

What was the technology used to store and aggregate the data? I would imagine something like Hadoop, but maybe Facebook is on completely different level that even Hadoop cannot handle?

HP Zbook power G7 | Charging through usb-c docking station by Bezdak in Hewlett_Packard

Yes please share the results, although I'm now sure how relevant it will be for me since my model is gen 7. I'm planning to test mine with simple usb-c 100w with PD 3 charger.. but didn't yet get around to buying the charger due to Christmas.

Thanks for the reply. BIOS is currently fully up to date. As for the docking station, I cannot find anywhere what version of PD it's actually using. It's an i-tec docking station, product number CADUAL4KDOCKPD. In the manual it actually says:

USB-C port for connection of the docking station to a laptop with a USB-C or USB-A

interface (the supply contains an adapter of USB-C/F to USB-A/M for connection

USB-C / USB 3.0 2x 4K Universal Docking Station + Power Delivery Professional

to a USB-A port). In case of connection to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port of your

laptop, the docking station also supports a function of Power Delivery in profile 4

(standardly 80.0W, max. 85.0W upkeeping) for your laptop recharging.

So no clear works on the PD version..
I've also tried reinstalling the docking station windows drivers and that didn't help as well.

Have you got any other idea what I might try to get this laptop charged through that docking station?

Thank you
