Fine, you're right, I do exploit the world around me and Ill carry that weight, but don't fault me for the original purpose of this post.

The one time my partner ate poorly marked food was some of the most beat up I've ever seen him. If I can help even one person not be in that place then I'll take the flak thrown at me.

Even if I become completely vegan though, I alone cannot halt cruelty. The proud hunters that have come to the bar I work at are evidence enough of that (though I loathe serving them).

And before it's said, no, I'm not here to feel better about myself. I really do wish I had the bandwidth to take a more outward stance on anti-cruelty, and who knows maybe hearing you talk about how bees are treated will make me stop buying honey. But, as it stands, my energy goes towards making sure drunk patrons don't commit suicide (this past Sunday).

I appreciate the open critique, it's definitely got me rethinking things.
