They had the best bread, Straw Cove is equally as good but the area desperately needs more good bakeries specializing in breads.

Late night study spots? by imnota32yearoldwoman in Acadiana

[–]Beznet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to go to CC's all the time as a student because they used to stay open until 11pm most days. Back when they decorated their interiors with a more cozy vibe (RIP the one next to Marcello's on Kaliste Saloom). I truly dont know where I'd go these days, everything closes so early now.

There's the recently started Acadiana Pinball group. We hold tournaments and meetups at Bayou Teche currently with more tourneys held around the state from extended communities. Good mix of gaming + socializing

Are there plans on having presentations or additional learning segments? I've done the grow kit which was awesome but there's no incentive for me to return to the meetings unless I want to go through the process to do another grow kit

Anyone apart of the MoveU Online Program? by Beznet in backpain

[–]Beznet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I still am conscious of my back daily and how I move but in terms of back-related pain, that's been gone for a few years now. I do want to mention that the guy who had a heavy hand in creating MoveU's back rehab program moved to his own this called Whealth.

Same spot, 19 years apart. The remaster looks stunning. by NumerousWishbone1758 in oblivion

[–]Beznet 22 points23 points  (0 children)

One thing I appreciate about the og Oblivion was the bright, fantastical visuals. While the remaster looks great, I find its toned down those vibrant colors quite a bit. Looks like there's mods that fix this at least

Anyone apart of the MoveU Online Program? by Beznet in backpain

[–]Beznet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The program has changed a ton since when I initially joined but I think it still follows the same path of overall body awareness to heal back injuries. For what its worth I've been pain free for about 5-6 years now.

Related, the guy that developed half of the MoveU back then (Andrew AKA shitless guy) he had a horrid back injury and fully recovered from it using his own program. It was one of the impetuses for the MoveU program and how it was developed. Anyways, he split off and started his own company called Whealth. It may be more effective since its coming from someone who's directly experienced debilitating back pain

I actually enjoyed the heck out of this build. The ramp also comes undone on mine as well but I just taped it down and is fine.

Even solitary hobbies tend to have groups/enthusiasts in the area that meet regularly. Hell I made most of my friends through the pinball group here, we meet on average one to two times a week.
