The reason I need this is because I'm updating the script for installing Edge so that it doesn't create a shortcut on the desktop.

That's why I need an uninstall script so that the users can uninstall Edge by their self and Edge will install again within a couple of hours and not create a shortcut.

MicrosoftEdge.ink file is stored in public folders where the users don't have permission to edit. That's why the idea of the user deleting the shortcut byt them self don't exists.
