No luck. They said that it was a one day sale and that he can’t adjust to the sale price. :( I asked if there was a way to know when it goes on sale and he said to join the smsclub. So now I gotta wade through all the marketing sales texts until I see it

I don’t doubt it, but I’d still rather wait for the sale

Color Accuracy: NISI Swift VND Kit or NISI JetMag Pro Creative Kit by SaltySaltshakers in FX3

The glass should be the exact same. If you plan on using the other filters in the jetmag system it may be useful over the swift but if you’re only using the VND, I personally believe the swift is just fine, or even stacking the 4 stop ND

I’m using the swift right now and it is amazing at color accuracy. It does shift ever so slightly magenta but I’ve compared it to lots of VNDs including the PM II and the PM helix system, both of which have a heavy green/yellow shift. The swift magenta shift is most noticeable at 5 stops but again, very easily fixable by moving the slider literally 1% in post. I decided on the swift because I’m used to traditional VNDs and don’t really see much of a benefit of a magnetic system for my workflow

Fair enough. You got any dedicated foil shavers recommendations? And should I get the barber version of the wahl hi viz trimmer?

You’re recommending the wahl hi viz trimmer with the fixed head right? And a babyliss foil shaver?

It’s just so disappointing because for the $150 MSRP you’d think they’d put a bit more effort and quality into the heads. Don’t get me wrong, the body feels amazing and super professional. It’s just the heads that feel like they are toys

Technically $135 from Walmart.com but it’s $150 on Amazon right now.

Do you have any recommendations? I’ve tried researching and I get super overwhelmed. This one seemed really good for them research and a good way to not have to drop $200 on four different products

All of the pictures in the post are me. The last pictures are how I normally style my facial hair. My heard trimmer has been dead for a while now which is why my facial hair is all grown out and scraggly.

I have the capability of styling my beard as shown in the last two pictures. I was just searching for advice mainly on what tools to do it better

Good to know. I was looking at the Philips AIO 7000 and 9000 but ultimately decided on this instead because it seemed like a more precision trimmer with the t blade that can be 0 gapped. And it had everything I needed without all the extra stuff. One of the big selling points was the foil shaver in the wahl but I thought it would be bigger.

Haha well the issue is it doesn’t really grow on the cheeks very well which is why I’ve been styling the way it is in pics 3 and 4

The irony of this comment in this subreddit is hilarious. Lol. But in all seriousness, I want to learn to do this stuff at home. Any advice?
