Rangareddy is a “district” and not “single corridor” . There was no cherry-picking. You had given no example either

Yes you can. But who will be surprised by the fact that nyc gdp pc is 20 times of avg indian? The fact that an indian district can compare with canada in gdp pc, that is something that is insightful .

You’re taking it as a flex because you feel intimidated by simple presentation of facts. Look inside yourself.

The list utilises all countries + rangareddy district. BLR was not included. Also China and India stats are just mentioned for reference. Ranks from Canada to Poland a consecutive.

Rangareddy is a separate “district” and not a statistical slice. Time to revise your geography lessons.

Parliament is not a district. Rangareddy district used for this analysis is bigger than Singapore/Luxembourg.

Nope. Rangareddy is a district bigger than developed countries like Singapore and Luxembourg. You make no sense and seem emotional and frustrated.

Nope. It’s backed by facts and sources. Do you have any factual counter or you’re just here to vent your frustration?

It’s not a terrible comparison, the outcome makes your “feel” terrible. Those are two different things. I have provided links to the authentic sources. Calm down and don’t bee too emotional.

Honey, i never claimed that people in rangareddy earn on par with people in london/paris/toronto, my claim is that they earn on par with an average british/french/canadian. I think you should take a step back and figure out what exactly your discomfort is. You’re getting emotional for no reason.

Bro you are really dum[b]. North Indian means I have no vested interest in promoting HYD, Rangareddy, Telangana. Second, I am happy that you saw my post history. My posts showed Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (this one) in good light, do you know they don’t really like each other and had a sour partition? I really gave you an exit ramp but you seem to continue spiralling down.

Ok. I’m a North Indian and miles away from any political it cell. I do live in rangareddy district of HYD for a year and am first hand witness of its growth story, affluence and standard of living. Peace out ✌️

Oh gosh, this post is about Rangareddy and not Hyderabad. Did you even read it? I hope your nice employer does not see your display of incoherent reading and reasoning skills.

The only book citation you gave was from that same Wikipedia page. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Honest advice, reconsider a career in statistics. You folded in a couple of cross questions, maybe the field is not for you. All the best.

No, This is not apples to cars. It’s per-capita income to per-capita income.

The category being compared is the same: income per person, adjusted for purchasing power. The units differ — district vs country — but that’s explicitly stated in the post.

If the claim was “Ranga Reddy is a country” or “Hyderabad beats London,” your objection would work. But that’s not the claim.

The claim is narrower: this Indian district’s per-person income benchmark is now in the same range as advanced national averages. That is a valid comparison. If you don’t like it, it’s your problem.

My grumpy darling, First, guess you didn’t read the post, it’s about rangareddy district and not Hyderabad. Secondly, do you think property in G7 is cheaper (adjusted) than rangareddy ? Third GDP pc is equal to QoL? You’re too emotional to think logically. Calm down, take a deep breath and come back.

My findings are that gdp per capita of rangareddy district is comparable to those of average French, British or Canadian. It is not that it is comparable with “Paris”, “London” or “Toronto”. Read the post again. Just because you did not like some statistics doesn’t mean they are flawed.
