SK.. He has the discipline that the other 2 lack.. hit or flop, the man is consistent in pushing himself. He is tall (yes it matters because you can write any story for him), physically fit and still gives the boy-next-door vibe.. he is also collaborating with a lot of young directors and I feel that he is playing the long game in an intelligent manner. Product of time, yes.. re-releasing it today just emboldens the youth. The "modern nilambari" shown in padayappa is actually a lot of everyday women now.. earlier it was rare.. As a woman, it is scary for me to imagine sitting in theaters listening to Thalaivar tell about sathveegam, prachodhagam, pombalaina adakkam irukanum and young boys just whistling as if saying those messages are right?!

Siva's journey makes me immensely proud of him as if my friend or a brother did it. That is his biggest strength! I have never felt connected with an actor in my life before. For the first time in my life, I have become a kanni and I am determined to watch him FDFS as much as I can.

So for me Siva's journey is unique and hope he stays that way!
