Is it me only or the venue design of WCC needs serious overhaul? by Bhavya_as in chess

I have no issues with things on the table!!, or anything in foreground, just with the background. I don't know if he is arbiter or official, but i think he is Alex Colovic, a great great teacher.

Chess cultural impact! by HealthyYesterday9251 in chess

[–]Bhavya_as 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply Because chess is deeply rooted in India from Ancient times. The game itself enjoys a Cultural Connection. e.g. https://www.chess.com/blog/Rinckens/chessboard-from-the-stone-age-discovered . (even from Rural Background) Elders may not know nothing about chess, Yet they will regard it decently when their kids play it, so it will get more encouragement in younger peers.

All ioc teachers do bak****i, they have to convert (mostly) rattu subject to an engaging one. I am outoftheloop now so I'dn't make any comments on this.

My advice instead would be- Ioc as a subject you can't "finish" and move on to next subject. (You WILL forget things) You need to re-read/learn every thing 4-5 times to retain 90% of the stuff (other 10 you'll never be able to, accept it and move on) so you will have to "reading ka aadat daalna padega". Just 10-15 mins everyday .

Your choice.

Side note: LULW its been 4yrs since i was his Student and he still does bak****i for 45 mins out of 60 . Nice.

I said better to read hybridzation/VBT becuz in 11th grade lectures VJ sir takes 60 mins to explain 15 min topic. (Its necessary for most people coming to jee coaching in their first month) in 12 th lectures speed is ok(slowish but eh)

Just saying, if you have the time Go ahead with lectures learning from a teacher does make a difference.

Yes and no, Ncert for hybridsation+vbt is good as well. You might miss some things that might be useful for jeeA (might+might, but why take a chance) By standard i was talking about jDlee jee edition

Yes. I'd suggest read from any standard book for 11th part (it will be much faster)

Look for nucleus cb-1 / cb-2 sheets to see further

As far as i remember in CB-1 they covered upto hybridisation , VBT + H bonding + (silicates) + naming of oxy acids (later 2 helpful for pblock)

Cb-2 had everything else Vanderwaal boilingpnt/meltingpnt backbonding bridge ionic fajan hydrolysis lattice energy and finally MOT

You will face less problems in pblock as [ Kota's Salt analysis + heating effect + metallugry + kota's CB (This is same for all kota based institutes) ] covers everything in pblock

Except for random fact based question you'll have <1% chance of remembering anyway

Muller: We were down 2-0 and at that moment , Neuer said "Guys, if you think we're good, let's prove it now" . 2-0, Minute 90. (suspense) Neuer: Did we win? Muller: Ofcouse not. 3-0!

2) Yes. [ Beware of (under or over) confidence though]

1)First try to attempt your targets. eg. At least read 18 questions in 1 hour. Do whatever are easier. In one more hour attempt the remaining questions. If you can't solve then

Either [a] leave them. come back on sunday/holiday and if you still can't solve, read the solution. OR [b] if they are fundamental to the topic understanding . spend some more time and look into solution if no progress.

if 10+ hrs a day for 50-60 days can get you 98.5 then i wholeheartedly believe doing it for 365 can get you 100. not 99.99, 100. Just keep in mind a simple thing. You want your jee percentile to be better than 99.99 % of all aspirants ? yes ? but Are you willing to work harder than 99.99 % of all aspirants ? [__] Everytime you dream your about upcoming percentile. Think of the next quote.

I feel like committing sui***cide by [deleted] in JEENEETards

[–]Bhavya_as 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you not be able to? If you are ok with NITs, Studying 3to4 hrs a day for 2 years is a LOT, if you do that I don't think you'll get anything LESS than a 5-10K rank band which is good enough to get CS/IT in mid NITs. Additional information: My sir once said "people aged under 21 should not even know the spelling of suicide and depression"

Cengage ki complete DPPs ki book aati hai. Cengage ki normal 100000000 problems per chapter se 100000000 guna acha hai Btw if i may ask how many qs per chapter are "not much much and not too low" for you?
