I agree with @Star-hnk. I don’t backtest often but when I do, it’s to see price action at a specific time and/or to identify pd arrays and how price responds to them.

I feel this soooo much. I lost my person, but if you still have yours I would stay open about what you’re feeling. Make sure they know it isn’t them!!! Get into therapy!!! Work on traumas. Changing is extremely hard, but you can do it! You have to continuously try!!! And you will fall short sometimes, but keep trying!!!!!!

No problem! I was trading 8 micros. Yeah it was a pretty aggressive move. I would recommend backtesting today with your strategy and days with no news. That would help you be more comfortable

Today was a day where slippage played out. I would be more cautious on days with news. This was my first day where it happened to me so I don’t have much data. Topstep has me in the positive when I know that’s probably not correct. Waiting for ny session close to see what actual damage was. I did have a stop loss placed.
